Drink lots of water and take Tylenol only if your head hurts as well. I mean some mornings I wake up with a sore throat but when I drink almost a half a gallon of water it goes away.

Ice cream.  Gargling with warm salt water is good, too.  But ice cream is the best because you can eat it slowly while watching tv and have a pretty good, long bit of relief.

Orange juice

Those are your best options. I'd probably do all of them depending on where the throat is sore. Is it more down in the vocal chords? Hot honey tea takes it
