Have you ever changed your favorite character?

I sort of did, originally my favourite characters were a tie between Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, but Pinkie very quickly became my favourite character, I don't know what it was but I think it might have something to do with all the stupid things Rainbow has done which makes her slightly less likable (only slightly, she's still a good character).

My favourite character used to be Fluttershy but I then realised in earlier seasons she had very little development having the getting over your fears moral over and over again. As a result she lost her place as best character and Discord became my new number one. Fortunately, I am liking the new tough love Fluttershy in recent episodes so I hope she keeps it that way showing she has grown.

All the time. I alternate between Rainbow Dash and Twilight. Rainbow Dash because I got into the Brony fandom because of her (can't let go of that fondness). Twilight because I can relate to her the most out of the Mane Six, and I guess I just appreciate her the most.

I stuck to Fluttershy for entertaining me through Season 1 and 2 but since there wasn't any other pony that topped her performance in Season 1 and 2 yet so she remains my favorite buto ut of loyalty she has actually been out of the picture for 3 whole seasons.

It has not shifted much but I wonder sometimes. My first favorite pony was Fluttershy when I started watching the show and even before that. She was my sole favorite pony until season 3 and since then my favorites have been a tie between Flutters and Twilight Sparkle. Lately though, it has been shifting more to just Twilight at times, I feel like eventually that will be the case.

It went from Twilight Sparkle, to Rarity, to Fluttershy, to Applejack, to Discord, to Celestia, and so on. 

 

My overall favorite is either Princess Celestia or Discord, I'm thinking Celestia tho, but mane 6 wise Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie are all tied. c:

When I first started watching at the beginning of 2012, Rainbow Dash was #1 with me, then by Season 2's end it was Twilight Sparkle, (which is slightly ironic now) but as season 3 was airing Fluttershy rose straight to the top and has stayed there.

I started being a fan of Twilight, and still am, but for me Fluttershy is best pone now. And has been since February. I went from valuing intelligence more to compassion. And I think that was a good shift for me.

I was all bout Twilight but as the show has gone on and such,  I switched to Rarity and Shy and Derpy with Dinky and Discord.  Mostly also a Luna fan too.

I was the most familiar with Rainbow Dash when I first started watching the show. I started off with her episodes and she became my favorite. But ever since I watched Scootaloo's episodes for the first time (and had my thoughts about her character), Scootaloo became my favorite character. This was almost a year ago and it hasn't changed since!

I've actually done so a lot. In fact, last year, most notably during summer, I changed my favorite character about a thousand times or so (changing between Rarity, Cadance, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie.. I could go on)

I've swapped between Fluttershy and Flapjack a whole lot of times, as far as the Mane Six are concerned. Even though Flutter was the first to grow onto me, Applejack really shines in many of the later episodes and she's very relatable, being a down to earth (forgive the pun) pony. Love'm both!

Sort of. Once upon a time when I first started watching ponies back in 2011 when season 1 had concluded and season 2 had not yet started, it was Rainbow Dash who I liked the most initially. But by the time I had marathoned all 26 episodes, Applejack just sort of solidified herself as my definitive favorite now and forever. Once I glom onto a fave, I rarely switch to another. I always fluctuate between the other manes for the second and third favorite spots, etc. Nopony has been able to dethrone AJ for the top spot over the years though. <3

 

Unless it's Equestria Girls. Then Shimmer rules. But even then, FiM AJ is still unbeatable.

Started as Fluttershy back in 2012.

Then went to Colgate in 2013.

End of 2013 it was Rarity for a little while.

And ever since 2014 to present, Flitter's been my favourite.
