I remember watching G3 MLP when I was a kid, at the time I liked it and used to watch it a lot on DVD. It's been a while since I watched it.

I remember seeing G1 MLP film on laptop when I was younger.

I saw the Generation 1 special, Rescue at Midnight Castle, and I remember seeing the trailer for the Generation 3 special, A Very Minty Christmas, a few times as a kid.

I am gradually watching My Little Pony Tales atm.

It's somewhat dated, therefore it makes me feel dated, because I was very much watching cartoons when it was brand new.

Also, there is only so much Clover that one can take in a single sitting, so I have to pace myself. Some of the things that are said and some of the characterizations would not fly today. But, it's like root beer, the more I watch it, I start to like it more.

I remember watching a couple of gen 1 episodes when I was a really little kid (They were a little older by then, but my family always had a lot of old dvds and vhs tapes lying around) including "The Quest of the Princess Ponies" and "The Golden Horseshoes". I don't remember particularly having a favorite gen 1 episode. We also had the three episode box set dvd of "Positively Pink", "Come Back, Lily Lightly", and "Two for the Sky" from gen 3. Of the gen 3 episodes I watched, I remember liking "Come Back, Lily Lightly" the most and "Two for the Sky" least. To me, the reveal that Star Flight and Heart Bright gaining wings was all a dream was a bit cliche and confusing, especially when you consider the fact that this is all happening inside a book read by Storybelle. Little me was like "So, you're telling me that not only is this not real, but it's not even real in the not real world..."
