What have been your worst times to get sick?

40 degree fever on finals first year of Uni. I don't recommend it to anyone sane

I got sick during the week before exams (SWOT VAC is what we called it). It really impacted my studying and couldn't revise as much as I wanted. For my Biology exam, I did barely any studying and got a shocking (but unsurprising) result.

Often times it's happened at Christmas. Understandable considering there are more people out and about interacting and passing germs around.

At the beginning of the year last year. I had been applying to jobs for months and finally got my first interview, and with the most desirable job with that! I was ecstatic! The next day after the call, COVID began spreading through my household and I got it, of course. I had to call the job and tell them that I got COVID and had to cancel the interview.

Thank goodness, though, because they were willing to reschedule and I got the job! A happy ending to what could have been downright devastating.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Christmas has always been an inconvenient time when I’ve had a lot of colds. But also on vacations I’ve had my fair share of little health issues; usually from eating unusual foods along with having different sleeping schedules and more exercise than I’m used to. The first time I went to Disney World I got violently sick from a buffet at Hollywood Studios, so now I have to be very careful.

Once winter leaves, then I get sick when it's warm enough for outside adventures.

I used to almost always get sick right before midterm exams in College. Probably due to stress making my immune system weaker if I were to guess.

I tend to get sick around the holidays, probably due to being around more people.

I remember being sick from food poisoning on a day that my friend came over to pick something up that I worked on for him. That wasn't fun.
