11) She has shown that she can handle her own, whether it be in a fight or a kidnapping, despite her rather contrasting perception at first.

1. Andrea Libman is a fantastic voice actress who also does Pinkie. She really brings out Fluttershy's shy nature which I love.

 

2.She the element of Kindness:Kindness is necessary in the magic of friendship, because without kindness you can never make friends which leads up to friendship. So, to put it to the point Fluttershy's element is the most important.

 

3. The Stare: I believe non of the other ponies have a weapon this usefull. The stare has saved her friends lives (IE the dragon on the mountain), and with that stare she help keep the animals under control and her friends.

 

4. Reforming Discord: I don't think anypony else could have done a better job. Twilight would have used magic which is kinda cheating, Rainbow Dash knowing her would have used force, Pinkie would have used some sort of riduculous trick, Applejack would use force to, and Rarity...I have no idea what she would have done. Fluttershy used her kindness to take down on of the most harmful villians to Equestria, only using kindness.

 

5. Animals:I think this reason is the most improtant, because without her who would take care of them? Yea sure, they're vets and zoos but we always need one pony who can take personally take care of them.

 

6. Shyness: I think Fluttershy is the pony that most people can identify with. All of us have a little bit of shyness, but you can see though out the whole show she's starting to kinda get out of her shell, which we all do when we grow up.

 

7. Adorableiness: C'mon people. You cannot look at this face: and not say she's not the cutiest pony ever made.

 

8. Corage: Even though she's shy and scared at the same time, when it comes to her friends she's not afraid to fight anypony. She got mad at Discord when he was trolling her friends, and when the dragon was terroizing The Mane 6, was it RD who stood up to the dragon? Heck no! It was Fluttershy!

 

9.Helping her friends: She helped Rainbow Dash with the flying competition, helped Celestia with her Bird, helped Rarity with Photo Finish, the list goes on and on. To me, she has helped the most ponies in the whole series.

 

10. Angel Bunny: I don't think anypony but Fluttershy could keep Angel Bunny and keep treating him as nice as she has been doing. That takes some really attitude right there, and another reason why she is best pony.

 

11. Finds niceness in everypony:  Discord again. She never gave up on him, and stayed by her side never breaking her promises.

1. Ashleigh Ball is a fantastic voice actress. That cowgirl accent is loud and clear in every line she delivers! And her singing. Have you even heard Applejack hit those high notes in Magical Mystery Cure? It's a work of art, really.

 

2. Representing the element of honesty, Applejack is straight-shooting, ethical, and 100% genuine. She is, after all, the loyalest of friends and most dependable of ponies! You want a role model, look no further than Applejack.

 

3. She is the most "human." Not only in the sense that her ridiculously adorable blonde mane, green eyes, and freckles make her easy to envision as a person, but also in the sense that she has limits to just how far she can go before she acts out and starts making mistakes. Her stubborn pride is her greatest enemy, and she can be provoked!

 

4. Her maturity. When Applejack messes up, she's almost always the first to apologize and admit she's wrong. Whenever somepony else is down, Applejack will be the first to detect it, and will be quick to offer comfort and warmth.

 

5. She's built herself to be incredibly strong, dexterous, and athletic through her hard labor and rodeo training. She's a 10-time rodeo champion with more blue ribbons than anyone in Ponyville, and she certainly didn't have any shortcuts like magic or wings to help her get there.

 

6. She's a hard-worker. She nearly single-hoofedly runs a farm that has the best apples in Equestria, and apples are imperative to a pony's diet. If it weren't for AJ, Ponyville would be a lot more hungry. Her job is not one of glamor or fame, but of constant hard labor.

 

7. She's courageous. She may not be as fearless as Dash, but when push comes to shove, Applejack will always set aside her fears to save the day. Whether it's saving Ponyville from a stampede of cows, herding away parasprites, or kick-firing rocks like a rocket launcher at some Timberwolves, Applejack would gladly lose a limb if it meant getting a job done or saving another's life.

 

8. Mental stability. Applejack is the only pony to never have a serious breakdown. Sure, she's caused trouble through sleep deprivation, but you won't have to worry about AJ having a panic attack over a late letter, proclaim that her "life is ruined" because she got stuck under a boulder, run off and cry because some bullies made fun of her, wallow in whatever it is ponies are supposed to wallow in, or start talking to a pile of rocks because her friends don't like her parties.

 

9. Her dedication to family. Why, if Twilight is the Princess of Friendship, then I demand AJ be the Princess of Family. She's always there for her loved ones. Doing work for her injured brother, conjuring up the money to replace Granny's nagging hip, taking charge of the family reunion preparations, and being a loving and motherly figure to Apple Bloom all come to mind.

 

10. Her quirks. We’re talking about a pony who named both of her hind legs. She even had the gall to write a letter to Princess Celestia about how she learned NOTHING! Plus, her country girl accent, mannerisms, expressions, and terms of endearment are adorable. How do ya like them apples, sugar cube?

 

11. Her tragic back-story. The show has made implications that her parents are dead, and this has been all but confirmed now. The fact that AJ is an orphan adds to just how admirable she is, being able to step up and take charge as head of the farm. She’s had to grow up quick and has a tremendous sense of responsibility because of it. Plus, don’t you just wanna hug her now that you know she has no mommy or daddy?

 

12. She just is! Oh dear, was that 12 reasons already?

5) Twilight Sparkle has a great attitude about things and has a general personality that is easy to compare oneself to. Friendly, adorable regarding her scientific ways and easy to get along with as well as honest.

 

6) Twilight Sparkle is a very determined pony and was the one able to overcome Discord's evil magic. She always does the right thing.

 

7) Twilight Sparkle has an awesome friend named Spike and she is likely the reason why he is such a perfect little dragon.

 

8) Twilight Sparkle is modest unlike some unicorns that doesn't have what it takes to be great without cheating.

 

9) Twilight Sparkle may be from Canterlot but she isn't uptight or arrogant.

 

10) Twilight Sparkle has best colors and cutie mark.

 

11) Twilight Sparkle has best house. Not the best pet like Gummy but her house is the best. It doubles as a library!

Now it is Twilight Sparkle's turn.

 

1. She has an inquisitive mind and a thirst for knowledge and learning: A healthy mind is one that is eager to learn and Twilight has shown this consistently throughout the series. She can be somewhat closed minded at times such as when she literally judged a book by its cover in Bridle Gossip for example but has improved greatly on this.

 

2. She does not let her status go to her head: As a pony from Canterlot, princess Celestias apprentice and most recently an alicorn princess she has not once despite her privelged background ever become stuck up or looked down on anypony.

 

3. She proves that you can still be cool even if you are a bit nerdy

 

4. Is a well balanced character: As the element of magic which is supposed to embody the other 5 elements of harmony Twilight Sparkle also in some subtle ways embodies some of the positive traits of the other mane 6 while having her own unique character strengths as well as flaws.

 

5. Is very dilligent and hard working: She may not buck apples and may not be training to be a Wonderbolt but she has perfected her skills as a mage through years of hard work and study. It is true that has some prodigious talents but talent means nothing unless you are willing to put in the work to nurture that talent.

 

6. She is so cute when she has a freakout: and I don't just mean the Lesson Zero level freak outs either even the subtle "woah" moment she had in Spike at Your Service when Applejack moved her inkwells around was adorable.

 

7. Tara Strong is one of the most awesome voice actors of all time: seriously she really brings Twilight to life.

 

8. Shows that hard work and diligence is good when tempered with balance: social interaction did not come easily to Twilight at first but as she slowly learned how to do it she realize that it is important to have balance in her life.

 

9. Is very relatable to people who struggle with social interaction: as someone who grew up with Autism I had to like Twilight learn how to interact with others because certain social cues did not come as easily to me as they do with most other people. Twilight may not have Autism but her struggles with social interaction still remind me of mine.

 

10. Has had some excellent growth as a character: she went from the socially awkward yet gifted student of Celestia to now one of the most respected ponies in Equestria. I didn't agree with twilicorn at first and don't agree with its execution so far but am now neutral yet optimistic after seeing Equestria Girls.

 

11. Can be a good voice of reason: Twilight and Applejack compliment each other very nicely as voices of reason and in some cases have kept the other in check.

 

12. Is a good sister/mother figure to Spike: I think that much of the reason Twilight treats Spike as her "#1 assistant" is out of his desire to feel useful and to want to contribute. Twilight indulges Spike in this though it may not be the best thing for him in the long run out of a genuine love for him.

Twilight Sparkle is Best Pony for the following reasons:

1. Unicorn. Definitely my favourite of the subraces.

2. Brilliant; The filly has a library in her head and in her home, you know she'll figure out everything eventually!

3. Anxious. Ain't no melt down like a Twily meltdown. She's even got a series of verbs that indicate what she's freaking out about at the moment! 'Twilighting,' 'Twilynanas,' et al!

4. Keeps on growing. She keeps on getting better at things and no matter how many times she falls she gets back up and keeps on trying.

5. Went from being a loner to a great friend: As someone who has wrestled with depression for my entire life, she struggled to learn to ask for help when she needed it. But she did, and like Twi, I can say it is one of the most important mental health steps anypony/one can take.

6. A champion for her friends and family. She cares for family and friends in the same way she cares for herself- She's awesome!

7. Magic. I mean, magic as a talent? Hello, gorgeous.

8. Purple. SO PRETTY.

9. Simple Mane and Tale: From my experience, the easiest to draw of the mane six!

10. She's also Solid Snake when she time travels.

11. She takes care of, foster parents, and tolerates Spike. Saint worthy!

4,  Rainbow Dash describes herself as "super-ultra-extreme-awesomazing," and since she is the best pony, we have to take her word as gospel truth. In addition, she frequently competes with other ponies (Applejack in particular), and routinely comes out on top. She is the best, says she is the best, and is always fighting to stay on top.

5. Rainbow Dash does things in 10 seconds flat.

6,  Rainbow Dash is the fastest and best flier in Equestria (See: Sonic Rainboom). So, she is the best at doing the one thing that only pegasi can do (and alicorns, but they don’t count, see point 1). Therefore, she is the best pegasus. Since pegasi are the best type of pony (see point 1), and she is the best pegasus, it logically follows that she is the best pony.

7.. Pegasi are the best type of pony - multiple studies have shown that they are the favorite among bronies, particularly for OC creation. Earth ponies don’t have magic or flying (lame), and Equestrian magic is too overpowered to make a balanced character. Having only one super ability (flight) is the best of both worlds: cooler than earth ponies, but not OP like unicorns or alicorns. Therefore, pegasus ponies are the best of the Equestrian ponies.

1. We have the adorably kind, sweet, animal-caring Fluttershy.
2. We have the exceptionally strong, honest, family farmgirl Applejack.
3. We have the gorgeously heroic, intelligent, book pony Twilight Sparkle.
4. We have the amazingly funny, surprising, party pony Pinkie Pie.
5. We have the beautifully dazzling, generous Fashionista Rarity.
6. We have the awesomely talented, loyal, jaw-dropper Rainbow Dash.
7. They are amazing at every thing they do.
8. They've been through so much together.
9. They have amazing voices.
10. They are all ponies who I never get tired of seeing.
11. They are absolutely beautiful.
12. They are my life's heroes and I love them so much.

12 Reasons why Starlight Glimmer is the best pony for me.

1. We share the same humor (irony and dark humor).
2. All we ever wanted in life is friendship. We both lack experience in this regard, do make mistakes and have a lot to learn.
3. She has 5 amazing designs! (Old hairstyle, new one, young, Snowfall Frost, Snowfall Frost young.) She has more of course, like pathfinder and crystal pony, but those are the 5 main ones.
4. She is one of the most powerful characters in the show!
5. Her realistic behaviour and "flaws" (I don't consider them flaws) make her so relatable. And it makes her such a diverse character.
6. She is friendly, caring, supportive, strong.
7. She has a very good taste when it comes to friends! All of them make FiM so good! (Mane 6, Spike, Sunburst, Trixie, Maud.)
8. I love her personality, her expressions and everything.
9. She really shines when it comes to the things she is passionate about. She is so happy and enthusiastic!
10. She has an amazing voice! Her songs are amazing too!
11. She has various interests and she is open-minded to try out new things. With her, it never becomes boring.
12. She always makes me happy.
