animation Favourite Animated film?

Either Wreck-it-Ralph or one of the Toy Storys

Wreck-it-Ralph because it's a video game based movie that actually does the medium justice and the latter is such a nostalgia trip for me that still holds up well today

Atlantis: The Lost Empire

While it's neither the most original film out there, I love the animation, the side-characters are freaking hilarious, the feeling of adventure and discovery is there, and it's just a fun film. I love it so much. <3

This is such a difficult choice, but I think I will pick the first Toy Story. The atmosphere, the characters, the jokes, I loved everything about it and it is one of my most watched movies. For some reasons, I don't think the sequels are anywhere near as good. They just seem too 'big' in comparison. Too large for their own good.

Megas yeah Wreak it Ralph is a great film for Nostalgia purposes plus it got a pretty good story to tell. Nice to see all the video characters in there too like Bowser and Q*bert even if they don't get much screen time still awesome to see.

PathfinderCS I like Atlantis The Lost Empire too and I agree the side characters are great. That's nice that you can enjoy and appreciate the film so much :)

Kyoshi yeah I agree the first Toy Story was awesome! I loved it

Hey there @!

This topic is better suited to our Media Discussion sub forum, so I've gone ahead and moved it over there.

In regards to your question though... this is kind of a toughie. Toy Story 1 was indeed a beautiful film, and I watched it again and again as a child. It will always carry a place in my heart. But there are so many Disney/Pixar animated movies that I love, all for their own different reasons.

Lion King, Hercules, Alice in Wonderland (that especially since it's just a uniquely colossal mind screw journey :P), so many others I could list off. The Disney animated canon has some of the best in feature animation, and I don't think it's hard to see why.

First I'll start by saying I typically do not like cg Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks animated movies. It's not just the cg, but rather I just don't like the storytelling and style.

My favorite animated movie is GI Joe the Movie. I love the GI Joe cartoon and the movie was so epic when I saw it as a kid (yeah I'm that old). I'm not saying it is the best movie, I'm saying it is one of my favorites. Transformers the Movie is also really good, but GI Joe is much better than Transformers. Yeah, I'll stand by that statement.

The DC superhero animated movies that go right to DVD are mostly really good and I look forward to each new one.

Porco Rosso, by Studio Ghibli. It's a nice, nostalgic little story with just a dash of fairy tale and an overall lack of villains - just different people with different views {and also one hilarious narcissist}.

Inside Out. I remember seeing the movie in theaters last year after hearing all the hype about it, and I can definitely say it was well worth it. Great characters, great plot, feels, good setting, and overall definitely one of the best films I've seen.

The Iron Giant. The characters are great, the story is realistic and intriguing, the animation is gorgeous and is an elegant all-round film. It's a shame that it isn't the most popular film, but it still does a lot of things right.

Frozen and Wolf Children: Ame and Yuki. I am a total Frozen fan girl (I love anything to do with sisters, hence my love for Luna and Tia) and Wolf Children is beautiful. I recommend it if you haven't seen it.

"Akira."  Because it blew my mind when I first saw it, and I never fully recovered.  "Princess Mononoke" is my second favorite.

As much as I want to say "The Aristocats" or "Toystory", I'd don't think I've ever watched a movie more times than I've watched The Digimon Movie. Or Pokémon 2000, for that matter. I think it really comes down to nostalgia value. ^^'

Woaahh... This is wayyy to hard. Fact is, I've basically seen every animated big-hit movie ever since I was born. XD I'm such a big nerd when it comes to animated movies.... But, well...

My favoriteS would be How to Train your Dragon, Rise of the Guardians, Tarzan, Poccahontas, Brave, Pebble & The Penguin and basically all Ghibli ever.

Because they all just bring joy to me whenever I watch them and I cannot ever get tired of their music pieces. They all have a meaning and a nice feeling to them and they are all kind of natural, much nature and such.

BTW, i am always cautious picking new movies as all time favorites. I just recently watched Inside Out and it was incredibly well done and people say it's one of the all time greats. Same goes for Zootopia that recently came out, eventhough i still have to watch it.

I always wait like for 5 years and then i would make a judgement if it's really one of the all time greats, because only time can tell, if a movie really holds up.
