Your Favorite Pony, Then and Now?

I'm sure that for many people their first favorite pony isn't the same as their current one. 

 

If so, how and when did it change?

 

 

 

My favorite pony for the first couple episodes was Rainbow Dash, but then Fluttershy rose to become my favorite around the time Dragonshy came out. Fluttershy has been my favorite ever since, and always will be.  

 

 

Later on, Twilight became my second favorite. But within the last few months, Rainbow Dash once again rose to become my second favorite, now followed closely by Twilight. 

 

But of course, I love everypony. I don't actually have a least favorite pony of the Mane 6.

At first I was a fan of Applejack, then it became Twilight for a while. After taking a break from the series, I came back and quickly fell in love with Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo. Every pony is great in their own right though.

I first liked Applejack the most, but after Suited for Success, it's never been anypony other than Rarity.   I'm seeing more and more bronies warming to her all the time, which is great!

Fluttershy is, has and always will be my absolute favoritest horse.

 

Though I won't deny, I do think I've grown a lot more of a mild "favoritism" toward Twilight as well by this point, as well as for Rainbow Dash, however, overall, Fluttershy still remains my very top-favorite pony.

At first, when I first watched the show I had no favorite one, but months after I became a pretty big fan of Rainbow Dash, but after a lot of time as her taking this spot, I lost interest in her, then, days after, I decided that Twilight Sparkle would take the best pony spot for me!

Rainbow was my first introduction to the show, and I have a soft-spot for tomboy types. Didn't last long however because a only a month later during the first hiatus of the show and before S2 aired, Luna gained most of my affection for rather shallow reasons. She didn't even have more than a few minutes of screentime and barely any expression of character and I just kinda squealed whenever I saw art of her I guess.

I think a lot of people fell in love with Rainbow Dash because of how simple yet appealing her character is when you first start watching the show. She was my favorite pony for a little bit, then Scootaloo came along and it hasn't changed since.

 

My favorite pony hasn't changed in about 2 years, but I've started liking other characters in the show a lot more compared to when I first started watching it.

One thing I've noticed, at least with the bronies I knew, was that at first everyone hated Rarity and loved Rainbow Dash, and now its sort of flipped.

 

I, however, always loved Rarity from the day I saw her

 

She's a lovely pony and I wish I could be more like her.

Twilight has been my favorite pony since 2014, she's still my favorite pony as of now.

Twilight was the reason I began to like the show, so she was one of my favorites from the start. Currently Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer are in that group as well, and it's possible Starlight might become one of them later on in Season 6. My favorite pony hasn't really changed from then to now, the group at number 1 has simply grown.

I used to like Applejack the most, but that was only because she's my fiancee's favorite character. Ever since then I kept watching the show, and Rainbow Dash just took me away from AJ pretty easily.

I went from liking Twilight, then after a couple episodes of Season 1 I went to Rainbow Dash.  She's been my favorite for a while, then I started to like Fluttershy a lot more near the end of season 1.  At the start of season 2 I went back to liking Rainbow Dash, then near the mid-end of season 2 I liked Fluttershy and since then it hasn't changed

Well ever sense episode one my favorite character has been Fluttershy and that hasn't changed.

However characters like Rarity and Sunset Shimmer did really warm up to me over time and ended up also being some of my favorite characters.

Rainbow Dash used to be my favorite, because I thought she was 'cool' and because someone who used to be my friend really liked her so...

 

Currently, my favorite character is Spitfire. 

 

My second favorite was Twilight, but after Starlight's redemption Starlight Glimmer is my second favorite.

My first favorite was Fluttershy, because she was like me, very shy.

So...yeah, thats the only explanation i have right now. 

 

But later it changed, because Fluttershy seemed to rage out at some points and sometimes her shyness was a little to much. 

So, the next favorite Pony i had, was Twilight. She was still a little bit social awkward, but was more " normal " and she was one of the only characters, who wasnt just a stereo Type for me and...i dont know, she was the most " normal " and clever one, so i liked her most. She was like the Voice of Reason for me, well she and Rarity.

 

But then it changed again to Rarity, my current favorite Pony.

I dont know when exactly it changed again, but somewhat about her character, make me like her more than Twilight.

Twilight is now still second.

 

So, my favorite character changed twice.

At first Twilight Sparkle was my favourite, and Rainbow Dash was quite some way down the list. As RD developed, though, she started to rise through the list, until Wonderbolt Academy shot her to the top of my rankings. As it currently stands... it's Twilight again, although it's sufficiently close that a good episode for one or the other could tip the scales. None of the others come close, although I do really like the CMC (I have yet to see Crusaders of the Lost Mark, mind, which might affect my views quite a bit - in either direction.)

Since the beginning of my interest in the show my fave has been Twilight. However, for a while after reading "Cupcakes" I felt strangely empathetic towards RD and I dwelled on her as my favorite for a couple of months. Now it's still Twilight #1, with Dash coming in second. (good thing she won't read this, I don't think she could take being second)

When I finally caved in and started giving MLP a chance, Rainbow Dash was quickly my favorite. She is athletic, sarcastic and snarky, all of which I love. Her voice is perfect for the character and her humor fits me perfectly. 

 

I first watched Dragonshy as my introduction to the series. However, not until 18 months later when I actually started watching the show did I discover my true MLP love:

 

Hooves down, my favorite pony in the show. Rainbow Dash is still my favorite of the Mane 6, and Pinkie Pie has grown on me a lot the more I've watched the series. She's starting to rival RD for the title. But, Apple Fritter is my MLP waifu for sure.

At first, I liked Rainbow Dash the most due to her amazing and cool design. This was before I began watching the show properly, but after watching several more episodes I realised that I favoured Fluttershy. Then I grew to love Pinkie Pie... My favourite pony changes a lot, and at the moment I'm on the fence - Applejack, or Twilight Sparkle? But I went with Twilight seeing as I can relate to her the most.

at first i liked applejack, because of her southern heritige(i live in the south), then it changed to luna, BECAUSE THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED. But now its fluttershy. YAY
