10/10, favorite show ever. It's not perfect by any means, it has flaws, plenty, but I love it more than pretty much any other piece of media of any kind. It's the only show that can actually at times make me smile when I'm feeling down, and the only show that's moved me to tears in years, that's got to count for something.

It's a pretty fair assessment of what I think of the show overall. There are better shows out there, things MLP could do to improve, and things limiting the show's reach that could hold it back. The fandom, however, greatly enhances the show's experience. The enjoyability and marketability of the characters are valuable assets, and the expanding setting is no slouch either. The art style pretty much lends itself to fan work and does a great job creating an atmosphere distinct from other shows in the MLP franchise as well as other modern cartoons. For what we have, it's a great show.

 

It's still too early to tell on Season 6. I don't know why people are just giving 1s and 10s to it already, but we're only a few episodes in.

6/10-Its a nice show. I sit down and watch it now and then, but it's not my favorite. Then again, I don't have a high opinion ofcartoon shows these days, so whatever.

It give the entire run as a whole a pretty solid 9/10, it's definitely in my top three current cartoons, although the actual position within that top three is fairly fluid.

 

Equestria girls I would probably say 7-8/10, I have seen and enjoyed all three, but it's not at the same level as Friendship is Magic.

It might not be considered as one of the all time greats in the future, considering if i now look at Season 1, which has not aged well. But it will certainly have a cult status.

Season six has had some good episodes. Nothing mind-blowing, but nothing bad, either. Too early to grade at this point.

 

As for FIM, it's definitely a really good show, but there are other better cartoons out there right now. Steven Universe, which I don't like due to preferences, is objectively better than FIM. But it has a lasting legacy for bronydom coming alive and spreading their love for the show and for jumpstarting a background theme from Pixar, hundreds of children's literature, and other great cartoons from the past: Good family work is best when they're accessible and loved by kids and adults alike.
