Honestly, if anything, Quibble reminds me of the likes of BronyCurious/Tommy Oliver and DigiBrony. I'm not saying that to be negative against them, but Quibbles...well, quibbles reminded me of how they looked at various episodes and how they seemed to me more in line with season 1 & 2.

Towards the last two acts, Quibble Pants is so much like me that it isn't even funny; it's borderline uncanny. His model is even similar to my OC. I can relate to his genre savvy and I love the moral that he's used to portray, and I can say for sure I acted like him in the past on this site. His role in the episode really plays out the nerd fantasy of being in their favorite work in such a comedic way that only a jaded fanboy like him can do.

 

This character hits home so much for me that I feel like I'm getting pulmonary hypertension every time I see him shipped with Rainbow Dash.

Tommy still occasionally does pony stuff and has expressed some regrets over that video, but I do see the parallels.

 

He could have handled that a lot better, but seeing how we've had some problems around here with fans eating each other up over Season 6, it's understandable that patience runs short with these kinds of people. Most of the important people involved learned their lesson and moved on.

I said enough about it last year and i don't need to bring it up again. If he does, that's cool. But i think i just can't look at him the same way.

Quibble Pants was supposed to be like those fans that suddenly hate something after this point here or that point there. I think someone already pointed that out here, but oh well. Like, I recently saw someone on IMDb hate on every single bit of FiM that didn't have Lauren Faust behind it (which was after season 2, if I recall). Although I can see why, as she created the characters, for the most part, they acted more like Quibble Pants, when it came to Daring Do.
