if your talking about the 2017 mlp movie my guess is either take over equestria or revenge of some kind, if no one of those than gone mad with power

Seriously, i always thought that hypnosis/mind control would make for an intelligent villain, instead for the usual "i will kill you" trope.

If its an alicorn, I'm betting we'll get an alicorn who views the other mortal pony races as being inherently flawed and full of disharmonious thoughts, and therefore in order to safeguard the tree of harmony and equestria all non-alicorns need to be expelled from equestria.
Like how Humans were expelled out of eden by God and an angel wielding a giant sword due to having sinned, have the Alicorn villain believe that the mortal ponies should not be allowed to be in the presence of the tree of harmony and must be forced out.

 

 

The mane six would essentially end up shaming him into realizing the error of his ways at the end by embodying traits of harmony and other virtues in the climax.

In that case, he should try and brainwash Twilight. Without her, the rest of the Mane 6 are powerless... well, except when they're not.
