Where will you see the movie?

At the time of posting this topic, there's little less than a year before the movie hits theaters. But, I think some of us have at least a general idea of WHERE we would like to watch it. I highly doubt that I will be the only Brony in my area to go see it, but it would be kinda nice to see if anyone else here might end up watching it where I am, too. Maybe you guys could meet up with each other wherever you are. ;)

I plan on taking my girlfriend to see the movie at the Capitol Mall in Washington. :P

There's a really nice AMC in my area, I'll probably see it there.

I'm going to find the nearest theater and watch it there. Hopefully it will be a wider release than Rainbow Rocks.

I have to imagine it'll be a regular wide release, given all the celebrity cameos and seemingly higher budget. Edited by NeonCobalt

I am undecided if I will go see it in the theater yet. I would most likely be going alone, since I cannot imagine anyone around me wanting to dare set foot into a theater to see MLP. As large a city as this is in such a large state, it can be a challenge to find people interested in doing things together. It would be kind of cool, but I can easily wait for the DVD and watch it when I feel like it.

Also I tend to fall asleep in theaters very easily.

Hopefully it will be here in huntsville, if not I guess I'm going to houston or conroe texas.

I am sure it will. I believe Huntsville has some pretty nice theaters. Houston on the other hand.. bleh... most of the ones we have that I have been to are just not very good.

Right now we just have on theater here with decent prices but there's been some movies that had skipped our theater.

Yeah but what films? Usually when a theater skips a film it is one that is smaller and the like, for example some indie films or low budget flicks. Also some films for limited engagements do stuff like that. I expect MLP will be a pretty decent sized release and probably run on pretty much all theaters all over.

Knowing my luck, if I were to go to an actual cinema, it would have to be the one located about fifteen minutes away from where I live that's just off the main highway in a large strip mall. There is a more local cinema but that only shows movies that have had their standard run before being regulated to the cheap theatres.

If they run the original English version in the Netherlands, I'll go see it in the theater and probably drag my girlfriend along with me. If they just have the atrocious dub, then I'll find some other way of watching it. My preference is still the cinema, though.
