Turkey, Kraft® Stove Top Stuffing (some of the best damn stuff on the dinner table), Pillsbury® Crescent Rolls, the Macy's® Thanksgiving Day Parade, Christmas music on WLTW, and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, one of the best damn comedies ever made and probably one of the only Thanksgiving movies there is.

 

Also football.

 

 

On a more solemn note, I think it's appropriate to remember the people who can't be home for Thanksgiving, everyone from the military servicemen right down to Average Joe and Average Jane putting in overtime at the big box store's 5PM opening or sorting and delivering packages. They know that if they didn't do what they do, neither they, nor their families or neighbors, would be able to put anything on the table. They give so much and a lot of them get precious little in return. They all deserve a lot of respect on any day like this.

Not sure yet. Since I went home this past weekend, I think I'm actually going to stay at my apartment for Thanksgiving.

 

It's kind of sad, seeing as I haven't actually had a Thanksgiving in years, thanks to working at a department store that thought that Black Friday should take over Thanksgiving. Now I quit that job and have Thanksgiving off for the first time since... 2011? If my sister and her husband are involved I'd rather not deal with it, considering politics.

Ahhh Thanksgiving. My 2nd favorite holiday (losing out to Christmas of course  ). My mom always cooks up a feast for us to eat, and I am always grateful for all of the work that she puts in. My aunt and my grandparents will be joining us as well. Good food, and great company is all I could ever ask for  . I hope that everyone else has a fun and relaxing Thanksgiving with their loved ones.

Honestly, at this point, i don't actually know. I mean if things go the way they should, I should be at my grandma's house for Thanksgiving with the rest of my not very extended family, but with the disorganization of my boyfriend's parents, particularly his dad, I may actually just be at his house for Thanksgiving. Which admittedly, I don't entirely object to, but it doesn't seem right to me. I thought I would have gone "home" three weeks ago now, but because his dad is so disorganized with, you know, a grand total of a week and a half of time now, I'm still here. Not upset, but yeah that's what's going on with me.
