Donald Trump DIDN'T want to be President?

Seems The Concourse has posted an article about Donald Trump's victory.

Donald Trump is starting to have second doubts about being President.

Donald Trump does not want to be the president.[/size]

Donald Trump likes going to rallies. He likes hearing people scream his name in ecstasy while calling for the imprisonment and death of his enemies. He likes going on TV. He likes hearing about how high the ratings were after he goes on TV. He likes grabbing women by the pussy and moving on them “like a bitch.”

What Donald Trump does not like, however, is keeping his promises, sitting still for more than five minutes at a time, or doing any kind of work whatsoever, tedious or otherwise. It’s probably why so many of his business ventures were spectacular, blistering failures over the years.

But unfortunately for Donald Trump and everyone else in the world save Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump is about to be the president. And as miserable as it is for us, there is one small, saving grace amidst the despair: Donald Trump looks like he wants to die.

Yesterday, Trump made his way to the White House for his first meeting with Obama as President-elect. As many noted, in the photos of their meeting in the Oval Office, Trump looks absolutely terrified. As well he should be—this is a man who has absolutely no business running anything, much less the United States. And apparently, he knows it.

But it’s more than just being scared of what he got himself into. Donald Trump is positively miserable. He hates this shit! He doesn’t want to walk around getting a tour with Mitch McConnell. Nor does he want to sit at a boring table next to boring Paul Ryan and talk about boring things that aren’t Donald Trump.

Literally the only way Paul Ryan was able to convince Trump to come to the Capitol was to entice him with the closest thing to a rally Trump will get for the foreseeable future.

So to lift your spirits—because God knows we all could use it—here is President-elect Donald Trump being forced to do the job he campaigned so hard for. May he remain this happy for the rest of his godforsaken term.

Now I have been critical of Donald Trump mainly because of his lack of temperment. But I need to make this admission.

If Trump breaks down from being President, if he can't seem to stand it, and he decides to quit and give the job to Mike Pence, then I will feel sorry for him(And I'm not kidding about this. He looks like he's more miserable than Hillary Clinton)

Looks fine to me. He's always making weird faces. That article was kinda crap. Seemed like it was supposed to be not taken seriously but I've read serious article's on the website before.

Seems too early to be making assumptions. He probably hasn't gotten much sleep in the three-day span since Election Day. It's probably taken some time for him to accept that he won.

The article is simply wild conjecture. Reading articles made by the same author it's very clear that she does not have an objective voice in the matter and therefore the article can not be trusted to provide reliable information. There are pictures, but there is no proof that it actually links to him apparently "disliking the job", just moments where he was taken with that expression, some of which can be interpreted in many ways.

Also, if he didn't want to be president, he wouldn't have run for it in the first place and held onto the campaign for the next eighteen months. I'm not following the writer's logic here.

It's a strange form of egotism that I love. Best way to cap off a star studded career of wealth and celebrity? President of the US. No actual plan for what to do while there? Improvise. God bless america and God bless Trump :orly:

Laughter. That's me.

I see it not only as the aspect of a good friend, but also a virtue for life!

To let the world roll over me and my friends (psst that's you)  and enjoy every moment is my life goal.

So let me make you laugh... Let me make you smile... Let me brighten your day... You may be all the better for it

The article was certainly funny to read, but I doubt Trump hates the fact that he won. More and more I'm beginning to wonder if, behind his mask of impenetrably idiocy, he's actually a masterful manipulator who actually has the capability to do good things for the US. I certainly hope that's the case, anyway, since the US will inevitably pull down the rest of the world with it if it were to go down.

I would use the word persuader over manipulator, but this is essentially correct.

Scott Adams has been writing about this election since before the primaries, and he called that Trump would be the 45th President of the United States, based on how persuasive he really was. You should check out his blog.

I believe that he will use these skills, which he has honed over his business career, to work with congress and get shit done. I made a thread about his tactics here.

I actually read his blog already, which was one of the reasons I started thinking about that possibility again, given that most things we hear in the Netherlands aren't very positive and I'd pretty much resigned to him being a moron since I wasn't interested enough to dig deeper. But Adams is obviously a very intelligent person who doesn't resemble the stereotypical Trump supporter at all, so that forced me to reconsider the image I had of Trump.

I was thinking the same thing, but for very different reasons. There was much talk about Trump actually being a democrat ten or so years back, and how his ideas were rather liberal. Compound that with the lack of tact and blunders during his interviews and rallies as well as all the negative press he helped give ammo too, and it looked like he was in cahoots with the democrats, trying to loose on purpose so Hillary would have things in the bag.

Boy did the last month or two turn things around. That extra campaigning, a new focus on being more tactful, taking advantage of being so blunt and forward, and using Hillary's mistakes of insulting conservative voters and the Sanders supporters as well as the ethical and legal controversy surrounding her made Trump turn things around and take the campaign a lot more seriously.

No he's not the best choice, but he's not deliberately being a bad guy. He thinks he's doing the right thing and believes a Hillary controlled white house isn't what's best for the country.

In politics, there is no good or evil. Just conflicting ideologies.

Everyone is a villain, when you think you're the good guy.

Indeed. Most Trump supporters aren't the stereotypical Trump supporters tbh. They only showed fat rednecks supporting him for a reason. ;)

Watch out in the future m8. From what I've seen in this election cycle, meme magic is a powerful thing.

Even if Wilders were to win the elections here, he'd have around 44 seats, meaning he's nowhere close to the 76 he'd need for a majority. None of the other parties want to form a coalition with him, so odds are he'd still end up in the opposition. That said, he usually does well in polls only to be utterly trounced during the elections, so I'm not too worried about him.

If he didn't want to be president, he wouldn't have gone for it. Probably  early stress. Which, I despise the fact that he will be president and I will admit Mike Pence would actually be worse. I am not sure what the hell he was thinking when he picked Pence. Did he not see all of the 'Fire Mike Pence' signs when he campaigned through Indiana? An absolutely moronic decision.

I feel like Trump did that in an attempt to appeal to conservative Christian voters. A fair amount of Trump supporters dislike him, too, and I still don't know why he picked up over much more respectable Republicans. Kasich would have been much better.

At least the VP isn't Christie.

I dunno, I'm still hanging my hat on the Pentagon managing to revive Eisenhower for the campaign of 2020.

Everyone loves Ike, he gave us NASA and refused to play the Soviet's game.
