Whould you survive a hard work day on sweet apple acres?

As long as it's not super hot outside and there is plenty of water, I'd say I could do it. There are also better ways to empty that apple cart. :P

No day is too long, if I get to work with Applejack and Apple Bloom!

I'll be real here: I'm not a strong person with a lot of experience in labor-intensive work, so I'll probably get exhausted by 3pm, if not sooner.

Based on personal experience working a farm, absolutely. My great uncle owned a large farm in Pennsylvania where I would spend a week or two every summer, as well as help out during harvest. My wife's uncle owns a massive dairy farm in Maine that I've helped out with as well when we have vacationed there.

Hard work yes, but survivable ;)

Well now, that depends like most things do.

See, two out of my three 'sonas are rather sizeable. I imagine work would go by easier the closer the gap is between your size and the size of the farm. Gallimaufry is basically a beast of burden of sorts & could make short work of tilling or uprooting some dead winter trees.

Widders himself is rather inherently magical so that'd be a jiffy!

But suppose the question is aimed at me being more pony sized. Now, I am a rather sturdy sort, I say. I wouldn't min- protest all too much if you hooked me up to a yoke & told me to go furrow the back twenty. But I do have a habit of giving up easily to take a break every five minutes like clockwork.

I would say I would be rather good at plowing, but only if Applejack rides me pretty hard on it to get a sweat out of me.

............

Wait! Wait! N-No, not like that!!!

Beatings & Salivations Everybeing!   Creativity is something blatantly important to me as is no doubt evidenced by the 28 OCs I have posted here of the some forty plus I have, they're linked altogether at the bottom of my About Me page in my Profile & I would deeply cherish anything you wish to say about them! Among which of those I am proudest most of is my Draconequusona, His/My Ask Thread  and my Hydra, Gallimaufry or "Mauf" and their own Ask Thread!  Either way, sufficed to say, I am quite confident I have more OCs than you! Crazier to! Do You have a tatzelpony?! No, I rather think you don't! Hew-Hew-hew!

Id survive, but id be pretty exhausted by the end of the day. When it comes to hard physical labour, I've noticed that my stubbornness has a tendency to take over.

I dont like leaving tasks undone; tasks exist to be completed. Leaving a task incomplete represents failure and being completely incapable of performing what has been asked of me to do. I blame mcdonalds for this mindset where it meant "you got yelled at by the manager."

I?

I would be able to do it for ONE day. It's just one day. And i can be hard and have endurance.

I mostly don't have them because i am lazy af but if it is asked of me, i can kick myself up and do all that stuff for the day. At the end i would feel good and be exhausted and would sleep well.

I guess i would do it for 3 days and then i would be like "eh, i don't wanna". I think i could continue for the next one or two weeks and then i'd be dead or get used to it. But depending on whether i have to get used to it, in a scenario where i don't have to i'd give up. If this is my life and the only way, well. I guess i'd have to Man up, cause there is no going back.

I would actually love to live like that. It will be very hard and exhausting at first, but I will probably get used to it. :) Being inside or having a computer job is not what I would consider a fulfilling life, personally.

Oh yeah I could, it looks fun.  I don’t think I’d be able to kick the apples down though she’d probably have to be patient with me as i climb a ladder and hand pick them.

Oh yes. I've gone through Tae Kwon Do training and that's a challenge, especially training for higher level black belts. My stamina has improved and so has my strength. So yes, I'd certainly survive a day on Sweet Apple Acres.

Eyup!

With the amount of maintenance I've had to do single hoofed in the past around my place over the past few years and even before that, I know I would be able to get stuck in with working at a place like Sweet Apple Acres. I envy and respect Applejack in regards to the life she lives. Hard work, but plenty of rewards and plenty of good night's sleep no doubt.
