My favorite Season is Season 6, Season 4 is my 2nd Favorite Season.

Season 4. I think it's the most consistent, and it has the least amount of episodes I disliked (only one:Somepony To Watch Over Me), not mentioning that it's finale is still my favorite episode of the entire show.

 

Truth being told the fifth and the sixth ones had the potential of beat it, as the had some of my favorites of the entire series as well, some eps even superior to some S4 ones, but... they were dragged by a single but FATAL flaws that made them tripping (more precisely, the semiconstant Twilight emotional torture porn in S5 and the season finale I S6), so I'Lloyd go for S4.... although the I voted all the seasons except the first one. XD

Season 6 for me because it was different to previous seasons and it didn't use the same stuff that it did in previous seasons.

Season 5 has the most consistent quality and some of the best episodes of the show.

I've got to go with season four mainly due to the Equestria Games subplot that ran throughout the season, and for bringing back a classic villain in the form of Lord Tirek.

Season 4 as it has the most amount of episodes that I highly enjoy/all time favorites out of any season. It's also when my enjoyment of the show and fandom was at their peak.

Season 2 is my favorite, but Season 5 probably would've been my favorite if it hadn't been for the dissatisfying ending of The Cutie Re-Mark.

I'm between Season 2 and Season 4, but would probably say Season 4. Here's the current order:

 

S2/S4>S5/S6>S1>S3. Season 3 is the only season I haven't liked so far. (I've only watched 10 episodes of S6).

Season 2 is unmatched in my opinion. Has its weak spots like any season of this show, but it has the most favourites out of any season for me, and it's focused on exploring the characters individually in a way I really like. Honestly, I enjoy season 3 so much because it's basically a more experimental extension of S2.

 

S2 > S1 > S6 = S3 > S4 > S5

As much as I LOVED season 6, season 4 has to be my favorite because of the best story arc, and awesome use of characters in most of its episodes! Plus Weird Al! Can't forget him! Season 6 is a close second because of secondary character roles, meeting long overdo family members, Starlight being my 2nd fav character, and best use of Spike!

On the whole, I'd say Season 1. I've watched episodes from that season more often than from the other seasons. Season 3 has my favorite episode, Magical Mystery Cure, in it, so that one gets to a second place. The other seasons had very good intros and finals, but I wanted to judge the seasons as a whole, not just by their two-parters.
