Will we see MLP Shorts?

Will Hasbro ever officially produce some MLP shorts? How would you guys feel about that? I would personally love to see some, and they'd integrate really well with the show, Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll make some.

I guess we have kinda gotten those on YouTube, but they aren't exactly shorts I guess. The concept is awesome, but I am just unsure what they could do with them, given it would be a very limited timeframe. I would love to see them at least try because right now I only see FiM working in a 22 minute timeslot. They should prove me wrong.

Of course, the Equestria girls shorts are a great example of what Hasbro could do more of. The little slice-of-life shorts are great.

The Equestria Girls shorts for both Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games turned out really well and provided additional world-building through slice-of-life scenarios that were connected to but didn't influence their respective movies. They could easily take these and produce shorts related to the show though it may be difficult to include what they want within the three minute time frame the shorts usually are.

Didn't they make those cute Pinkie Pie storytelling ones during Season 6? More of those would be cool, especially as movie promo.

We might end up with a QnA series with the main MLP characters where you can email your questions and they will randomly pick a few to answer in the show. It might only be a official YouTube show though.

If you're thinking about something similar to the EqG movies, then...yes?
A few shorts leading up the movie itself may be possible, since it was so common with the EqG movies, except the last one of course.
I for one would welcome such shorts, it only means: more pony

We do have Baby Flurry Heart's Heartfelt Scrapbook. But so far, there's only episodes 1-5 and 7. Worse yet, even the Spanish dub only got those episodes and NO Episode 6 in English or Spanish!

 

Now, whoever made these shorts (Meghan McCarthy and Michael Vogel) are still busy on the movie, or they could have potential spoilers, so the least we can do is wait up to the time when the movie has finished production or when Season 7 premieres on Discovery Family before any more get released on YouTube.
