Is that ship also one of the ships you want to happen on the show really bad like SoarinDash? I love Cheese Pie so much, since both characters are very similar to each other.

No.  Why?

 

Twilight: Too focus on her study

Pinkie pie: Loves everyone to the point that level of romance is far fetch.

AppleJack: is too ignorance when someone is crushing on her. or too focus on her work.

Rarity: is too picky for her own good.

fluttfershy: seems content enough with her animals friends.

Rainbow dash: Wont take the time for romances relationship and is more of a free spirit.  

 

The ships can stay in a fan-fiction aspect.  Just because a mare is best friend with a colt doesn't not mean "oh they in love."

Not saying there shouldn't any, but in this case its unnecessary. We don't need romance nonsense  to make this show 20% cooler.

This is the same fandom where the most popular ships exists simply because two characters stood next to each other. The comic is gonna be enough to satisfy those hungry shippers

All I see is that the two are just best pals. A girl friended with a guy can't be automatic means they are couple. But I'll just leave the fans of this ship alone, just as long its not going to be a canon, since there aren't any in the first place.

Yes and no.
Yes: they should do more romances (we already have Cadance and Shining Armor), also same sex romances.
One thing this show does is teaching morals, accepting same sex relationships would be a nice way to contribute, since there are yet so many out there looking down on it, gotta teach those kids it's alright.

Maybe have one of the mane 6 have a 'ship with someone who doesn't look all good, but have a great personality.

No: the fandom is so easily triggered if someone is shipped slightly the wrong way, it would cause havoc.
Imagine if Rarity told Spike (in the show) that they could NEVER be more than friends, i'd expect some "fans" to become combustible lemons.
And countering my first point with the same sex stuff: overly close minded parents: there are bound to be some who would be so offended by it, that they'd do whatever they could to finish the show like Fluttershy finished a certain fruit before feeding a parasprite.

I wouldn't think they would be in romances perhaps some flirting at some times but that would be it as it would disrupt the fandoms stability people have their own views on who the mane six should date many of them conflicting so to make one group happy would disrupt the rest not to mention the amount of bronys who themselves view one or more ponies as their waifu so such a thing wouldn't be probable

Chances are, if they ever do end up in a relationship, it probably won't be until the series finale, in sort of an epilogue to show where the characters are in the future, where we'll see some of them have families

 

I mean, some fan ships actually are popular among the staff too. I remember that in A Canterlot Wedding, the pic of Dash and Soarin dancing together was snuck in by some of the animators because they liked the pair

 

By the way, I forgot to ask: where did you get that information about the animators and staff liking SoarinDash? I can't find any information anywhere that states that the animators and staff like that ship.

fandom... that is all that there is to say, to risky, to many oversensitive people in the fandom in the regards of "who ships who" you know, the works... xD Realistically the 6 most famous ponies (arguably) in Equestria would eventually be becoming of a serious relationship or some kind of relationship...

I am really happy after reading what Whompy Whomperson just wrote. If the stuff that Whompy Whomperson said is true, then there is a possibility that SoarinDash will become canon someday. I mean most of the time when animators and staff like a certain ship, the ship will most likely become canon. If the show ends without Rainbow Dash and Soarin becoming a couple, then it will be one of the most disappointing things to ever happen in a TV show for me.

Well there are a lot of fandoms that have oversensitive people in them that are like "who ships who", like the Avatar the Last Airbender fanbase. Most of the main and major characters in Avatar the Last Airbender end up getting in a romantic relationship, thus sinking a lot of the fans' ships. So I'm pretty sure the MLP writers wouldn't care about sinking many of the fans' ships, if they decided to have a main or major character get into a romantic relationship with another character.

Considering the target demographic, I can't see a major romance with the mane 6 any time soon. Maybe at the end of the series and maybe in Equestria Girls since it's a high school-ish setting, but I still doubt it would show up there. I don't think that little kids would be too interested in seeing a new romance, honestly.

 

Then again, if the show did Slice Of Life, I guess it's a possibility. I mean, it's probably not going to happen in the middle of a season or at the beginning. On the off chance that it did, I doubt the new character would be a major one. They'd probably end up like Starlight and only be in a few episodes.
