What do you think Megan, Danny, and Molly were doing, after G1?

In the original MLP TV series, the farmgirl Megan (who was 12 years old) and her siblings, Danny and Molly, went on adventures saving Ponyland from villains. In consequent official MLP works, they were never seen again, except in one Equestria Girls comic where their names are mentioned in a leaflet (under Sunset Shimmer) as being associated with a room.

In the context of daily life for people growing up through the 90's and into 2017, I wonder, how do you think Megan and her siblings would have lived to the present day (or even into the future), as they grew up after their adventures in Ponyland? The stories of their older lives, and those of their possible descendants, would be fascinating.

Furthermore, how do you think they (or their future families) might have reacted to FiM and Equestria Girls, and its quirky fanbase?

But what kind of jobs or lifestyles do you think each of the three would end up in? Each of them are different individuals.

Megan probably works with horses. She may run or work at a boarding/riding stable, she could be a trainer, stable hand, breeder, teacher or manager.

Danny could be a photographer, he always liked to take pictures or film things. Being brave and smart enough to face danger in different ways, I could easily see him in the military or as a cop.

Molly is a little harder to pin down. She's patient, firm and stubborn, so perhaps a teacher. Or just a regular 9-5 type of job such as working in a store, or at the office.

They would all definitely be riding.

I could see them playing and coaching any kids they may have in sports like baseball, soccer, volleyball and water polo.

This may be reaaaally off, but ponyland was a world of magic where creatures could be transformed such as from Rescue at Midnight Castle the ponies were turned into dragons or dragon like creatures  and a human prince was transformed into Scorpan so there could be a small chance that any of those 3 could have been transformed into a pony themselves or a creature that resides in ponyland in order to remain with them.

Now if they did move on and left ponyland behind they would probably keep the stories of their adventures alive by the telling the story to the next generations.

Finally they could have pulled off a Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry and remained in the pony world since ponies don't seem to die as quickly and can remain alive for many years and not only that the magic or a creature of magic could grant them eternal life or close to it  and through those years they could have entered the portal as they did and remain in the human world.

holy Flutterponies! I hadn't even noticed that flyer in the mirror world!

That would be interesting to see them in eqg.

It's a disappointment is that humans - particularly Megan, Danny, and Molly - and mythological human-like species didn't return in the later incarnations of My Little Pony after G1... It's understandable that it's due to people's - particularly Lauren Faust - own personal tastes, though, but still. And after Lauren Faust left, the writers could’ve added them later on, but they chose not to for her sake... Either way, none of them returning in G4 - and the other incarnation of My Little Pony - was a total letdown... And, of course, it's always preferable that they returned right away in their debuts. Megan, Danny, and Molly would've been perfect protagonists alongside the Mane Six in G4:(

Speaking of mythological human-like species, Tirek didn’t resemble a centaur at all. He doesn't have a human face. Seriously, why did they remove the human parts on every mythological human-like species and replace them with non-human parts? Not only is this idea weird, but it’s also silly and pointless. :baconmane:

Danny has proved himself as the most competent character of My Little Pony. He has authority, he is a leader, he is resourceful, he is stalwart, and everything. He always knows what it will take to keep the ponies safe from all kinds of dangers and foes. Furthermore, he and the ponies had a lot in common together since the beginning, and they would’ve had the same in the later incarnations of My Little Pony, as well.

Danny is the one who created the Magic of Friendship since he's the original Brony, a mare magnet — the one who gets all the mares. So, he's the one who's making the Magic of Friendship grow, especially due to the bond between him and the ponies.

So, Danny is undoubtedly the dominent character of My Little Pony, which is why he is meant to be the king - the supreme leader - in each incarnation of the franchise. In G4, he becomes the king - the supreme leader - of the entire world beyond Equestria later on, as well.

Another idea I have in mind for Danny is to make him a music artist/singer, like Countess Coloratura, Sapphire Shores, and Songbird Serenade. :squee:

The franchise had many flaws here and there - even the writers of G4 - I would've done better... So, I'm working on my own concepts and everything for My Little Pony, the true version of the franchise - the addition of humans and mythological human-like species with their human parts untouched - especially Danny. What I'm currently working on is concept arts of actual centaurs, and there'll be two other types of them with unicorn horns and pegasus wings. :eager:

Taking that flyer in account, the EQG versions of those characters are in High School, as they are in the Yearbook Club and only students would be referred to by their first names in an 'official' flyer looking for Yearbook submissions. Supervising teachers would still get honorifics like such as Mr., Ms., etc. even now-a-days.

Which probably means those versions of the characters are not the precise ones from G1, as those were children in what seemed to be the 80's in that world, and Equestria Girls appears to be set in the 10's, 30 or so years later. If it's the same world, the G1 Megan would likely be in her late 40's at the time of EQG, while Molly in her early 40's, and Danny somewhere in between?

Honestly, I've been racking my brain trying to think of, from what we know of those characters, what would they end up as in the Human world? And my answer keeps coming back, why would they? At the end of the TV series, they were pretty much in Ponyland full-time. They didn't have *time* to go back to the Human world to finish their education and go on to Human careers. They were fully occupied just trying to keep Ponyland from being destroyed by the threat-of-the-week. :) I think the characters even mentioned at one point that whatever was happening in Ponyland was more important than anything in the Human world for them, but that might have been one of the G1 comics...

Megan went to the amusement park in the EQG special "Rollercoaster of Friendship".

As for Danny and Molly, I have no idea where they were after G1. They were probably at the EQG universe with Megan, but we didn't get to see them.
