Lenny 249 March 19, 2017 Share March 19, 2017 For me, at one point was making theories and stuff to try to prove that Equestria existed, most likely with the googelplex problem. I love this show, more than alot of stuff in this world. Have you ever thinked of MLP this way? What would you do to live in Equestria? I'm interested in knowing what you think of this. Dreambiscuit 9,691 March 19, 2017 Share March 19, 2017 Nothing would thrill me more than to discover that Equestria was real. I like to think that maybe it is in the next world if it can't be in this one. Sometimes I like to think that in a truly infinite universe anything can exist. And if there was some way to get there I would spare no effort in making the trip. Who wouldn't? It's absolutely magical and populated by the most wonderful pastel ponies! If it meant leaving behind everything in this world, it would still be an opportunity to explore a whole new world with fascinating new vistas. I honestly don't see how I could resist. Even if I wasn't a fan of MLP, it would be something worth doing. Now, if I could be a pony living in that world and not just a human bystander...well, just let me pack my bags!
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,465 March 19, 2017 Share March 19, 2017 I have deeply thought of the moral aspect of the show on numerous occasions. the morals are one of the show's strongest points and while many in the fandom will simply dismiss as just being 'for kids', I think they are thing that anyone can learn from or be reminded of. Sadly, most of the human race doesn't even come close to what the show itself teaches.

Techno Universal 2,575 March 19, 2017 Share March 19, 2017 Well I've been going deep into the show since I first became a brony two years ago. Like I've noticed hints here and there about the existence of some sort of futuristic data system like the cutie map glitcing at the start of episode 12 back in season 6. Now I'm thinking that MLP is the answer to the problems in our society so I'm actually considering a way to actually introduce the ponies into the real world. Plus I'm thinking that equestria is actually on another planet and everything that happens in the show actually happened around 4000 years into the future. I'm also always thinking about MLP as my own creation that saved humanity. 1 Message from UNIT: UBC-001 (Original image used made by @chaosprincess signature composed by @Kyoshi) My theory of MLP OC: Techno Universal ask me!: Link
blackstarraven 142 March 19, 2017 Share March 19, 2017 (edited) I more think about it from the perspective of a social science study. (My Training after all) Things like. How does Equestrian Government actually work? Is Celestia Really a Benevolent Dictator? A Enlightened Despotism? The emotional social issues... Imagine what it was like to Be Celestia for 1000 years having banished your own sister. (Who would be one of the few people that she could actually have bond with for a long time) Just how prescient is CELESTIA?I mean I get real God-Emporere of Dune vibes from her. Like can she tell the future or is she just so good and guessing/figuring things out that shes just that accurate.... I here a lot of otherponies talking about how they wish that Eqestria was real.. (I point to Many worlds to make the note it HAS TO BE real, just in what reality) And really I disagree I rather like this world. If I wanted to live in Eqestria it would be for one reason. Because they actually have a hand full of leaders that I could actually get behind and serve... SIgh me up for Princess Celestia elite shadow death squad.... I wonder was Pony Fedaykin and Sardaukar would be like..... _____________________________ Well I have to add Pony Dune to my list of things that need to be a thing. Malcontent 196 March 19, 2017 Share March 19, 2017 I've often been told I overthink a lot of the issues of Equestria. For instance, why does the jackhammer they use have handles, when no one has hands, or have heard of them? Is the bit based on the gold based economy we used to have, or for that matter, who makes the bits? Is there a treasury department? Is there a tax? How is anything paid for as far as infrastructure. We see there's working water, sewage and roadworks and railways. Yet seldom do we see any upkeep. If it's all merit based or out of the goodness of one's heart due to friendship, why do we have any currency at all? Why is there a bowling alley if no one has fingers? Are earth ponies excluded because they can't use magic to bowl? We've seen cows are sentient, yet we have people making cakes and the like. Who milks the cows, is it awkward? Is the role of stallions and mares reversed in other parts of the world like "Saddle Arabia"? Come to think of it, we've seen the globe, assuming it's across the body of water, do they have ocean liners? How IS transport handled for longer journeys. Before the three tribes united, who woke the animals up and but them to sleep during the Winter phase? For all the talk of friendship, we sure don't see many other races mingling. Ponyville is very ..well pony heavy. Same with the dragons and the griffons. We've seen TWO mules. One sea monster. For that matter, what does the apple family keep pigs around for if no one's eating meat? Seems...wasteful in a way. You know things like that, I get told to be quiet about 1 Superheroes & Equestria Girls? Sounds fun to me! For instance, why does the jackhammer they use have handles, when no one has hands, or have heard of them? Their hooves work in a unique way, but I haven't found a solution that would work in all situations Is the bit based on the gold based economy we used to have, or for that matter, who makes the bits? Some things ౭౩౸౧౻ Why is there a bowling alley if no one has fingers? Are earth ponies excluded because they can't use magic to bowl? This supports the sticky hooves theory I made. It also works for the magnetic one (bowling balls are magnetic... Right?). And two other things, not mentioning here. We've seen cows are sentient, yet we have people making cakes and the like. Who milks the cows, is it awkward? I'd be as awkward as it is for us. Not really Is the role of stallions and mares reversed in other parts of the world like "Saddle Arabia"? Come to think of it, we've seen the globe, assuming it's across the body of water, do they have ocean liners? How IS transport handled for longer journeys. We haven't seen a massive body of water such as a sea or ocean yet. So the truth is we don't know. I don't know why you'd think stallions and mares are reversed, tho. Before the three tribes united, who woke the animals up and but them to sleep during the Winter phase? Not the sun, that's for sure. Duality 10,740 March 21, 2017 Share March 21, 2017 There was a poster in part of the Reflections comic arc (among several dozen others, all of which I read) that said 'If you're reading this, you may be overthinking this comic'. So, yeah, the poster says I have. Plus, I like headcanonising about MLP. And linking it with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not just in relation to the similarity between the Infinity Stones and the EoH, but involving stuff like the 'Pool of Reflections' in Age of Ultron and how it's basically the Mirror Pool. Ganondorf8 11,304 March 21, 2017 Share March 21, 2017 Not really as I just see it as a cartoon that has proven to be very entertaining in a manner not previously seen before. If there was one thing I would think about on a deeper level, it would be how the voice cast enjoys doing what they do. They have to spend hours a day saying the same lines over and over until perfected not to mention playing off of one another. I am amazed at their impeccable work but again I wonder how they feel about it.
cmarston1 5,959 March 21, 2017 Share March 21, 2017 Not really. I mean I have been pretty critical or at least by my standards towards Starlight's reformation, but besides from that, I haven't really treated FIM very seriously. It's a show that I really enjoy, and experience fan content like fanfiction and artwork from, and I enjoy these forums, but I don't treat it anymore serious than that. Colt 45 148 March 24, 2017 Share March 24, 2017 I have lots of time to think on a regular basis and think about things on my mind, which has included MLP. Olsen1987 133 March 24, 2017 Share March 24, 2017 sometimes yes, on it's existence and other things.it seems to be physically impossible for a real Equestria to look like it does in the show.yes, the multiverse theory is a fun thing, but it's not so fun that it goes beyond logical physics.2D animated characters with 3D elements, those lines around characters/items with similar colors (like a aura really close to the thing, basically touching the main object), that just seems too unreal. man dude man 555 March 24, 2017 Share March 24, 2017 I have probably thought about it to deeply, what kind of government is really supporting Equestrian rule, the material equivalence of one bit, how much rent is being paid, and how it is... if some of our ponies with the jobs of the mundane are government assisted... and I think of Equestria on a metaphysical scale, fictional realities intersecting with a dream state in our subconscious, Equestria is just one of these especially since Equestria Girls, and another show that occasionally breaks the fourth wall playing on our subconscious. I have had dreams about both ponies in a physical world in their cartoon representation, and both that and once Equestria itself... I think about more about what goes on in Equestria and what it is connected to (a chaos dimension) = something that has multiple perceptions depending on the individual, it isnt a place with one objective perception... There is just something about My Little Pony, down to the animation of its characters and their personalities at that, that connect to some part of my brain that other fictional and both realistic fictional universes can not. I think about the politics between nations, and wonder how Griffons, and Yaks perceive Celestia... seeing as, all things considered, the entire world would fall apart there without her, not only the life of ponies... I think about the past progressions and wonder if wars have been fought to have the societies they do... the thing about My Little Pony, is its part of an interlocking universe with so much open to interpretation, but they keep things very limited, there is a lot of depth capable of being used, and sometimes i wonder if these are just the thoughts I am supposed to put in the back of my mind for future seasons or if im looking to deeply into it... pony.colin 156 March 27, 2017 Share March 27, 2017 In previous topics that I had created or discussed, I used to be a lot more interested in wanting to have Equestria's story and lore make some logical sense or trying to look for more details on some theories. Not necessarily about wanting Equestria to be a real place however, but working out it's fictional elements to make sure it made sense from a world building perspective. I've let it go since then since I found some inconsistencies too difficult to unravel over the years. I also probably had waned interest that has now leveled out at least. Nightshroud 331 March 27, 2017 Share March 27, 2017 I thought bout the whole bowling thing deeply like how could the earth ponies and Pegasi hold the ball I get that unicorns could use magic to hold the ball but what bout the other 2? I always wondered how pinkie could bake or mix anything without hands? Or how could dr whooves work on anything in his lab without hands? How does the whole raising the sun and moon work? KatonRyu 1,033 March 31, 2017 Share March 31, 2017 By this point, I've probably thought deeply about every show I like a lot. Justin_Case001 4,888 March 31, 2017 Share March 31, 2017 Indeed, I think deeply about this show a lot. From the morals and how they apply to the real world, even in our adult lives, to the lore of the show universe and the limitless fan theories, to the fact that I like the ponies' world so much better than ours, and connect so deeply to the characters.
