Depends on the speed. If dashie got them up to near rainboom speeds then let go, they could form a "lifting body" and glide for a significant distance with no engine at all. they would have to use their limbs to keep the attack angle right though - if they tipped upwards, they would airdam and drop like a stone....

If the doggo has been dishonorable, than it is my responsibility, and I shall seppuku on his behalf. I refuse to let my metal pupper meet his ultimate end. He can't even lift a sword.
