general Are you a lucky person?

I, myself, can pretty much say that my sister drained all my luck from birth. She was always the type to look down and find a penny on the street, get lucky opportunities from events and things happening, etc.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the coin, there's me and my average luck. I wouldn't say that I'm being followed by a cloud of life-ruining bad luck, but I can't say that I've ever been exceptionally lucky either. I mean, I'm still here doing fine, but it's not like I lost anything big to unfortunate odds or won any lotteries.

So, are you a lucky person?
Tons of misfortune coming your way? Or more of an average kind of joe? Or are you the lucky superstar we all look up to?

I'd say I am as of recent.

I've had a tough year for various reasons, but as of recent, I've been able to really improve myself to the point where I'm having better luck at life.

It's been a hit and miss with me in life when it comes to luck. In the past, I've had a lot more bad luck in life but within the past year or so, the tables have started to turn.

Health-wise, I can say that I'm very lucky.  I seldom get sick too so that's a bonus.  The worst that's happened to me was with my gallbladder but that's was taken out last year and I've been doing great.

Everything else?  Pretty much a hit or miss, sometimes I can be very lucky but other times I'm coming in by the seat of my pants.

I've been sitting in bed wanting to do something with my time but having nothing to do for months. Was born into a relatively poor family so there's the immediate lack of luck. But nothing has ever happened to me that makes me "lucky" in any way. But nothing that makes me "unlucky" either, unless you want to count an extremely uneventful life as "unlucky."

I take it back - I'm actually very lucky. Something caught on fire in my barn and was smoldering the straw for what looked like days. We just happened to notice a faint orange glow from the house when getting ready for bed because someone left the barn door open.

So I ran out in the dark cold without shoes and the water hose and put it out. Total disaster averted - pure luck.

I take chances and majority of the time come out on top, but I'm not always that lucky. Though I almost never take any luck related chance if there is no skill involved. Yet I'm not lucky enough to have an audience after 5 years of recording and uploading.

I'd be in a hell of a better position than 99/100 people that I know if I were lucky. Cursed with ... not going there.

Lucky in terms of not dying or ever being seriously injured I guess, knock on wood  ... scale of -5 to 5, -2 I guess. One always feels worse than they really are.

YES ! I´m lucky and newer let´s anything drag me down, ever.

And remember :

Because nopony will help you, when times get really hard, and that´s true, if you understand the point.

Meaning : If you want something in life, you got to fight for it alone. I don´t mean that you should be a careless and rude pony, not at all.

But, there is no way to reach what you want in life if you not work hard and purposefully.

I´m very kind to anypony in my real life, and If you are nice and happy, other ponys arround you will be the same to you. Just trot away

from the ones you don´t like.

So YES very happy with life in general !

I’m not lucky when it comes to finding good luck, such as a clover or a coin on the ground. But I’m pretty darn lucky that I haven’t died yet, by a silly accident or all that has happened in the world. *knocks on wood* I am not a lucky person, but I have some decent luck at times.
