general Ideal future pet?

Now this can be any animals that are considered pets. It doesn’t have to be your favorite pet. I love tortoises and turtles, but I’ve had a tortoise before and let’s just say reptile pets aren’t for me.

my ideal pet would be a small breed of dog. Likely a king cavalier spaniel or a papillon.92EDE75A-5534-499C-8D98-C9A6781CDC96.jpeg.144bda998aa4c67641e618469873b2ae.jpeg63B82101-1452-41D6-BE8B-E5AAD60501FE.thumb.jpeg.6868fb27dde44c27893056906d8eed39.jpeg

though realistically it probably won’t be either breeds since I would rather adopt than shop.

I too would like a dog. I'm not to particularly picky on the breed though. Although, it is unlikely I would get myself a toy breed. If I had to choose just one, I'd say a Pitbull.

Pitbulls unfortunately have the reputation of being very aggressive dogs, when statistically, they're not. They're just dogs, and I like dogs.

Anything that wouldn't dig into or disturb my plants. :okiedokieloki:

I'm not home often enough to give a pet the attention they'd need. But if I were, I would prefer a medium-sized dog- maybe a labrador. Dogs have such an adorable sense of love and loyalty.

I would like a Horse. a Doberman Pinscher,  a ball python, a chameleon,  a chimpanzee, or a shark.  (favorite animals btw)

I would like to have a Tiger,Komodo dragon,and a weasel

But since the reality of me having those animals as household pets is very unrealistic and dangerous ...I would be happy with adopting a Tabby Cat ^^.

When I'm ready to move out of my parents house and go to my own apartment, I was thinking of getting an older small dog, because they wouldn't be as energetic as a young dog, and I would be able to handle them better.

I always thought Corgis look cute:

Some of my unusual "pets".

I really don´t recommend any pony to keep a zebra, it is not a pet for the average joe !

They are extremely hard to "tame" or more like "befriend", than any pony can understand !

And that´s one reason why the end up in our equine sanctuary.

But they are really cute and nice animals if you can handle their mentality and most important, listen to them.

I'm afraid of animals, but from a distance I appreciate cats because I like their attitude. I don't see myself ever getting an animal of my own. My toaster is the closest I get right now to something I have affection for; it gives me what I need, doesn't eat much and I only have to clean it on occasion.

Also I've always wanted a Husky/German Shepherd mix:

I've always wanted a pitbull but they're banned in Ontario...  Maybe a German Shepard?  I think they're cute but I've never had a dog before.

All I can say is, until you get a dog, you haven't lived. ^_^

My family back at home has a cat. But once I'm living somewhere that allows a pet, I really want a cat of my own because I know my family wouldn't let me take the other one. Probably a shorthaired kitty, specifically a black one because black cats still seem to have a stigma which keeps people from adopting them. It's really sad. But just like any other cat, they can be the sweetest creatures. I want to do my part in breaking that cycle of black cats being abandoned.

Just LOOK at this one's face. <3

A sting ray would be cool because you could still pet it. And it would look pretty cool inside a massive aquarium with some bamboo sharks which you can also pet. But realistically speaking I would want a green baby lovebird (baby so I can train it) I had a bird named Philip ever since I was a baby but he died when I was 7 of old age. He was cute and liked to snuggle and did not bite, because my father had trained him when he was a baby.

I do not want to have any pets (I do not like taking care of animals, let's leave it at that), though if I had to have a pet, I'd claim that a spider in my basement is the pet , there probably is one.
