My neighbor played on the Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan in 1992. We’re pretty good friends so it’s not a big deal see him. The only other celebrity encounter I’ve had was when President Obama drove by. :D

Yeah, got to watch President Obama's motorcade once, and I saw Trump at one of his rallies. I also got to meet Congress Women, Suzan DelBene once. I wasn't bored by these encounter's so much as their isn't much to them.

We met with one of the football player to get his autograph. He wouldn't  interact or even allows us to take a picture with him. I get it that he got lots of fans but a small talk won't hurt like when we asked him "how are you?" he didn't answer. He just signed and that's that.

One time Air Force One flew over me and my dad's car as it took off from O'Hare International Airport, Obama had been in Chicago that week to stop by his old house. I also saw Obama's motorcade when I went to Washington D.C a few years ago on a school trip, but I'll admit it was kinda exciting to see him drive by :D

A really random encounter I had was one time about three years ago my family had gone to a parade in a nearby town and our states Governor just walked by, shaking everyone's hands and telling us to re-elect him into office  So I got to shake Bruce Rauner's hand that day :yay:

I attended an opening of Planet Hollywood and there were 200 celebrities on hand. It was really boring though. It seemed more like they were all having a private party among themselves and the unwashed public were just annoying distractions.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio (The Sheriff Trump pardoned) came to the restaurant I worked for a few years back. I wanted to walk out and shake his hand, because at the time I wanted to join MCSO, but I didn't.

My mom dated someone from a band who knew Pepe Aguilar (He's a famous singer in Mexico) so we met one day and got tacos together. And for some reason, a lot of people wanted to sit at our table that day...

There's this show in the UK called the One Show, it's like a live talk show kind of thing, we were in London when they were filming it one time and so we decided to watch it live, they had like an outdoor area where they were showing off cars in this particular episode. One of the presenters, Alex Jones (Not the one you're thinking of) was stood nearby to us and she said hi and waved at us then walked off. That was probably my most boring celebrity, if you can call her that, encounter lol.

Boring celebrity encounter? That makes you sound ungrateful.

I only ever met one celebrity, and that was my favorite musician at the time. He gave me his guitar pick, took a photo with me, and signed an autograph. Coolest dude. I still have all of it.

And that’s the bottom line, ‘cause Stone Cold said so!

I can't imagine a celebrity encounter that would be anything but boring. I may admire their work for one reason or another but I doubt I'd want to know them personally. They're really just strangers that I don't know and will never know. Being celebrities doesn't make them special to me any more than someone I might bump into on the street. It would take more than a screen, music or sports credit to grab my interest.

I met Bill Clinton once years ago when he was running for the Presidency. Tells you how old I am. Shook his hand, his smile is contangeous.

Other celebrity encounters, let's see... I've met multiple voice actors at Anime conventions, but I'd say that's about the jist of it.

I accidentally bumped into Fernando Alonso in Austin in 2012. I said sorry to him, and he said "it's fine" and I failed to recognize his face and thick Spanish accent until someone told me afterwards it was him.

When I went to The Walking Dead convention last October and got to meet Chandler Riggs. They were rushing people in the lines so all I could do was shake his hand and give a little awkward “H-hi.” before moving on. Wasn’t necessarily boring I guess, just, rushed. :-D

A few years ago I ran into an actor that is well know here in the Netherlands when I was at the airport. He was on the phone and I didn't want to disturb him so I didn't get to talk to him. I nodded at him and he nodded back though!:fluttershy:

I saw Princess Diana when I was little during the grand opening of the Royal Victoria Place back in 1992. I won a contest at school that allowed me to attend the grand opening. Never actually got to talk to her. Just had the privilege of standing there and watching her walk by. :P

I only ever saw one celebrity. At least he was in my eyes. I met guitarist Robben Ford after a concert and got an autograph, a photo, and he gave me his guitar pick. I will never forget that. Super nice down to earth dude.
