Favorite Pony Voice?

My favorite voice is a tie between Scootaloo, Princess Luna, and Discord. I love Scootaloo's voice because of how tomboyish it is, I love Luna's voice because of how soft it is, and as for Discord: come on! It's John de Lancie! What's not to love?

Rainbow Dash. The little voice cracks are sooooo adorable! And her laughs when combined with the aforementioned cracks is diabetes inducing.

apple blooms and applejack the most, they're so cute

pinkie's is cute too but sometimes it's just...too much

rd's voice gets on my nerves at times but i looove her singing voice.

twilight also has a really pretty voice. and it's normal, but pretty.

Bloody hell this is a hard choice. I love all the ponies voices but if I HAD to pick I'd probably go for Sweetie Belle just cuz it's so high pitched and cute. Add Squeaky Belle on top of that and you've got Quirky squeeing left right and centre.

 

 

I'd love to say Twilight but Tara being in Lollipop Chainsaw has done too much damage XD good game though :3

In all honesty it's a tie between Shining Armor and Rainbow Dash for me for best stallion and mare voice respectively.

 

And I think Scootaloo has the best filly voice.

My favorite is Derpy's old voice, unfortunately it has been replaced again and again... It sounded very original and funny... :/

Out of the mane 6, Andrea Libman does a great job with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie's voices.

Princess Luna for me. She has this strong composure and authority with her voice.

Rarity's voice is just so perfect. I think it's hard to sound as sophisticated as she does without sounding completely off-putting and she manages to pull it off and be down right endearing. Tabitha's amazing.  I also like Maude's voice because I find it soothing lol.

 

Scootaloo has my favorite voice of the CMC. Ironically I like her singing voice the best too.

My criteria is how well the voice captures the emotional range, depth, and timing of the character. Far and away, the winner is Rarity.

 

It's an amazing contrast between the composure of Rarity's desired self-image against the depth of her emotional extremes; the raspy, aggressive tone she takes on when she's angry or possessive of something, her rapid cadence when she's excited, the intensity of her sadness and disappointment, and how ably St Germain is able to switch her tone on a dime as the timing and writing call for it.

 

 

Her best voice performances have to be "Suited for Success" and "The Gift of the Maud Pie", as well as "A Dog and Pony Show" where Rarity demonstrates such a high-amount of self-awareness that she practically becomes a parody of herself to illustrate just how strong of a character she is.

Feel free to guess how I voted.  Here's a clue: It sure as shit wasn't Soarin. xD  I'm sorry, I just...  I can't take the "surfer dude."  It's too much.  The "surfer dude" is strong in that one.

 

When I first started watching the show, there were actually two ponies whose voices I liked best out of the Mane Six.  One you've figured out, and the other I'm not gonna say.  In order to artificially create an air of mystery that no one will actually be baited by.
