To the guy who said Oldboy was one of his favorite movies, I salute you.

Most of the goriest films I've seen have already been mentioned, but no one has said 'I Saw The Devil' which stars Choi Min-sik from Oldboy. Another fantastic revenge flick, the Koreans dominate the vengeance genre.

Since I am totally obsessed with horror movies and I love gore horror I literally laughed when I saw you ponies' posts ^^

I better not post mine.. They're bad. REALLY BAD.

"Meh, the human centipede takes the price"

Uhm, no. It's not eaven on my top 100.

But erhm..

KIDS, DON'T LOOK THESE UP.

seriously.

ReGOREgitated Sacrifice

Cannibal Holocaust

Tumbling Doll of Flesh

Murder Set Pieces

A Serbian Film

Cutting Moments

Irreversible

August Underground's Mordum

August Underground's: Penance

Ichi the Killer

Just to name a FEW.

I have a video about my (old (I know eaven worse movies by now)) top most DISTURBING (not violent though) movies:

]

i've seen almost all of those... have you seen guinea pig? it's pretty much tumbling doll of flesh in a nutshell. wonder if it's the same guys who made them.

also maybe basket case is on the list of my most violent. but those are just ridiculous lol. pretty good story though.

Guinea Pig 2 Flower of Flesh and Blood

Yeah that's a disturbing movie for sure. The movie sucks though, imo. But they have some very realistic sound effects. The worst scene in the whole movie is when the guy cuts the hen's head of. The blood looks like orange paint, lol.

Irreversible

This movie. It's awesome. Very realistic and violent.

I've never seen it but it sounds like a pretty fucked up movie.

Apparently when the film was released, people thought that the actors were actually killed on camera. The director was charged with making a stuff film, but he eventually managed to prove that none of the actors had been killed.

The animal cruelty that is featured in the film however is all very real. And that in my opinion is absolutely unacceptable. 6 animals were killed on camera while making the movie. A turtle was literally decapitated alive, a monkey had the top of his skull chopped off. This is really fucked up and should not be viewed by anyone to be honest.

Which one is it you haven't seen? A Serbian Film or Cannibal Holocaust? Or both? However you should check them both out. They're both very well made movies and I really love Cannibal Holocaust. A Serbian Film is also good but it's very disturbing, (The music is epic btw) so I don't recommend A Serbian Film if you can't handle extreme stuff. Though you must check out Cannibal Holocoust x)

oh btw, it's called a "snuff" film, not a "stuff" film ^^

Hostel... I am not proud of that, because that movie is just freaking sick. I really can't stand that movie now.

nah, hostel is good (the 2nd and 3rd aren't that good though).

They promised alot of gore in Hostel, though there wasn't that much as I expected it to be. It would have been better if the movie was longer and there was some more scenes where you actually see what the "workers" are doing for a longer time.

lol it's funny how the horror fan and gore fan has a cute little bunny as avatar

guinea pig

Which one? There are seven of them. I have seen The Devil's Experiment, Flower of Flesh and Blood, Mermaid in a Manhole and Devil Woman Doctor. I can't find the others to download. If I did, I'd watch them. Edited by Mr. Nibblers

@, Oh ok. You should check out The Devil's Experiment and Mermaid in a Manhole. They're okay I guess. But Devil Woman Doctor was crap, don't waste your time on that. Edited by Mr. Nibblers

Wait wait wait.

Human Centipede wasn't a comedy?

Hmm... Good to know...

I don't know, I don't really watch gory stuff because I think it's stupid. If I want violence, I'll watch an action movie, and if I want horror, I'll watch some REAL horror. So the most violent movie I've seen is probably some war movie I watch a long time ago. Like, Platoon or 300 or something.

some one already mentioned Cannibal Holocaust, which has real death in it (animal and stock footage of human death) even a Serbian Film doesn't kill anything

yeah newborn porn, its not real

that turtle actually died

Cannibal Ferox was pretty bad, but it was much more just senseless violence, where as Cannibal Holocaust seemed to want to tell a story, though as wrong as it was.

though it wasn't even all that violent, just disturbing if you think about it-Saw was more violent just you knew it was fake

I have never heard of another movie where the Director had to prove to a federal judge he didn't kill his actors

I was talking about Cannibal Holocaust, but I haven't seen A Serbian Film either. Seeing the way you described it, I'm not so sure I want to see it though.

And yeah, "snuff" film is what I meant, obviously! I think I was pretty tired when I posted that haha :P

The most violent film i've ever watched, I think was The Silence of the Lambs.

The other was Rottweiler, but that movie sucked so badly! The violence wasn't the bad part, it was how horrible directed it was. It didn't go in any directions, I didn't know what even the "rottweiler" was or what happened to it, why am I following this guy around, HOLYCRAPTHATLADYISSCARY, and all kinds of other confusing and downright boring scenes.

Worst Spanish film ever 0/10 burn all copies and the poorly executed nudity scenes from my brain.

Most violent films are rated '15' or '18', depending on the level of violence involved, and any average adult is able to separate the violence on screen from real life with no difficulty, reducing the relative level of violence perceived by the viewer.  That may not make much sense, but basically a 26 year old will generally be less shocked by the violence in an '18' rated film than a 12 year old would.

Now, with that terrible explanation out of the way, my actual choice.

Watership Down.

No, I'm not kidding.

This film was rated 'U' (Universal, suitable for all), and I'm pretty sure the BBFC (the UKs ratings body) never actually bothered to watch the film at all, they took one look at it, said "Aww, it's a cartoon about cute little bunnies" and slapped a 'U' label on it without realising just how horrifying certain scenes were, for example, Fiver hallucinating about a river of blood pouring down the hillside, or the flashback scene where Captain Holly is describing the destruction of the warren and the difficulty in escaping the slaughter due to the runs being choked with dead bodies, not to mention the extremely bloody fight sequences later in the film.  The level of violence in this film, taking into consideration that it is deemed suitable for the youngest of children to watch, is proportionally far higher than in any other film I can think of.

Damn good film though.

Violent?  I keep seeing 'Human Centipede' or 'The Hills Have Eyes'... sweet Luna, you kids are soft!

Where is 'I Spit On Your Grave'?  THAT movie was pretty damn bad... and pretty damn awesome, too.  And I mean THE ORIGINAL; don't try to hand me this remake crap and call it 'good'!  Are you tired of the whole 'ooh-I'm-scary-but-I'm-PC' vibe?  Then KICK THAT LAME-ASS SO-CALLED GOREFEST CRAP TO THE CURB, AND STEP UP TO VIOLENCE!

The original 'I Spit On Your Grave'; after you watch it, I'll listen to what you have to say about 'violent' movies...
