  • 2 weeks later...

Primary monitor is a DoubleSight DS-263N 26 inch S-IPS panel LCD display with a native resolution of 1920x1200, secondary is a 19 inch Asus VW193D with a native res of 1440x900.

At some point I'm going to dump the Asus, move my DoubleSight over to the secondary position, and get something larger and better as a primary. :3

My monitor would be a 9600x7200, yep it's a ridiculously large sized monitor that probably is to big for my own good lol.

jk, I have a 20" monitor 1900x600 which is pretty good, so I don't need to buy anything at the moment.

Mine is 1024x768

Yes I use a laptop.

Well I dont really game on pc, because my computer cant even run Half-Life 1 with more than 8 fps.

Whoa, and i thought my laptop was bad at running games

Anyway, my screen size is 1366x768 (for a laptop, that's ok)  but i rarely use it for gaming, i mean, it runs HL2 just fine( with constant frame drop, but enough for me to beat the game) but i got a xbox, since a good pc is too expensive for me.

I've got a 15" macbook pro with a retina screen (2880 x 1800). Told my parents I needed a laptop for schoolwork and they went a little overboard.

Desktop: (2 x 1680 x 1050) + (1280 x 800)

Laptop: 1600 x 900

Having multiple, large monitors makes things so much easier, especially when drawing and programming and stuff like that. But it's also nice not having to switch between windows when browsing the web, watching youtube, talking on Steam/Skype, etc - just have each thing on a separate monitor/portion of a monitor and it works well

I dont understand how people can like macs. Only good thing that apple has done is the retina display,it does pretty sweet resolutions. But most of the games dont work on mac os and the mac os itself is buggy as hell.

I have an HP laptop with a 1366x768 screen.  It keeps me entertained and gets the job done in college.  I've had it since Christmas of 2010.

I had this same problem that you have, and you know what I did? I called my carrier, asked the price that would be added to the monthly bill for a better internet, and i told my mom that i was wanting a better internet, and i was going to pay the additional price on the bill, and problem solved ( i just paid the first time and she forgot about it later).

My bro did that, bill came. Instead of paying $99/month, the bill was $199/month

Yes we got 100 Kb of download speed faster

But wasnt worth it once parents got mad that he did it

Where do you live? This thing about can't get better internet is not true, dude, do you know where i live? I live in Brazil, one of the places with the worst internet in the world, a place where the upload speed is not even close to 1Mb.

Well, did you choose the internet speed that you wanted? Something like this has happened to my neighbor, he just said that he wanted a better internet, and they did a little improvement on his internet,
( 0,5 Mb increase speed) together with like 50 dollars on the bill, and he just called his carrier, and he said that he wanted the internet speed of 10Mb, and they changed it, and they added nothing to his bill  ^_^
