How important is romance to you?

I may be a drooling perv who sometimes thinks a bit too much with the man downstairs but romance is still important to me. Yes I would like to find my gal and someday I eventually will, but as a realist I know that I need to get my life in order before I start any serious relationships. So right now I am not exactly looking, but once I sort things out which shouldn't take me very long with how things are going all you ladies better get in line because this stallion is going to be available.

I mean, sex is how we make babies. Children are usually concieved by couples who are deeply in love with each other, or by accident during sex (Didn't wear a condom, didn't pull out in time, etc.) between two people who are ready to open up to each other like that.

 

Except for the products of a drunken one night stand.

 

I mean, our population would probably be pretty fucked if it wasn't for romance.

 

Like, we'd all be accidents, probably.

 

Anyway, time to say something about something I see a lot of in this community.

 

You can say you hate romance and everything, and how it's pointless, and how you want to stay away from it, but let me say this:

 

You'll find it one day, if you haven't already.

 

Just know that if you act like you'll never have love, you'll end up going without.

I'm the kind of guy who can't date just about anyone. I need emotion. The sort of feeling of belonging together.
This is the very same reason why I don't "hook up", have booty calls, or casual sex.
If the love isn't there, it doesn't do anything for me.

I wouldn't mind someone right now. Like, most (all) my friends have girlfriends/boyfriends, and I'm one of the only ones that don't have someone. Not that I'm craving one, but... you know... Someone to spend your time with isn't a bad idea, especially because I'm on my computer 24/7.

 

EDIT: Other than that, romance has a lot to do with romanticism, right? Yeah, I'm having tests on it. Oh, fun fact: I live in Brazil, and Romanticism here is divided in three different periods besides the original three European periods. All with different stuff in them. Yep. Double stuff for me in the tests. :/

I'm in a loving relationship and wanting to have some special time with him is very important to me. 

He doesn't care about my appearance or what we do, it's very laid back. Dating doesn't always have to be the superficial idea that most people think of it. We're both perfectly fine if it never gets physical and we respect each other. That's what a real relationship should be like.
