Is it still eligible? I really don't think i can squeeze it all into just 2500, and it may run a bit over.

That's fine. The minimum's there so that the judges won't take so long with their judging

I'm working on a fanfic but I can always do a side story. I'm a fan of certain kinds of shipping and romance. And at around 2,500 words? Sure I'll be willing to give it a shot.

I make no guarantees that I may be able to pull off something under such short notice, but I do have an old fiction that I had left unwritten for months on end.

 

There are, however, major fundamental differences with my writing that would likely get me disqualified immediately, but at this point, I really don't care.

 

I want in, no matter what, and I wanna finish that story.

Ah, understandable. Never mind, then. 2500 words is too short for me. Even chapter one of my story is 2800+ words. Not sure I could fit a whole story into 2500 and be happy with it.

As long as it includes shipping that makes sense (like, no Sweetie x Rarity) and you measure out their relationship, it is acceptable for this contest.

 

Anyway, we got all 15 participants now! But people can still sign up for the standby list. Read the OP for more info about that.

Even though I am not the leader I shall answer this for you. As stated I think maybe three times now, they are working on the due date so I am sure it will be up soon. However I think in one of the earlier posts they said it would be at least two weeks most likely.

Yeah, she said about two weeks, so we should all have enough time to write ~2.5 thousand words.

It seems like alot, but it really goes by quickly.

The deadline hasn't even been announced yet, and i'm already 500 into it.

if you hosted a contest just on fan fics (no character limit) than I would have entered. I had an idea of making a 400 chapter fan fic. But, it would take to long to write. But seriously, I would have entered, I just am too busy
