Ive been talking about this all day with my brony freind. Im as annoyed as everyone else... These people dont even like the show, and now theyve succeded in destroying the biggest connection between it and its fans.

 

I say destroy because I refuse to even relate this 'Ditzy' abomination with Derpy. As long as that boring voiced, normal eyed imposter lives, Derpy is dead.

 

I must say this whole things has actualy lowered my respect for Hasbro, and the show... This is no way to treat your fans.

I didn't even notice Derpy's eyes being normal. I noticed in the Last Roundup clip (the old episode is still on demand) they looked normal at one point before she knocked the beam over.

Never thought I would be agreeing with Hitler... but thanks to this video, I do! I agree with everything in that video. This is insane! I go away for a nice quiet weekend since no new episode and I return to this? I knew this wasn't over until the original was back on iTunes. Where do I go to download the original? I refuse to watch an altered Derpy. Also, where do I go about complaining? I refuse to be silent about this. This is an insult to everyone who is different because the message is loud and clear - characters must look "normal" or you risk offending people. What about us? I know I AM TRULY OFFENDED!!!!!!!

I've been notified that Derpys voice is going to still be the same, but on the itunes market it's the only one that is going to not have her original voice. If someone actually knows the story.... please confirm this.

That's the biggest problem with all this: the lack of facts.

 

What fills the vacuum left by Hasbro's silence doesn't tend to be very pretty, and while I doubt anything they say is going to make everyone happy, it would at least put a dent in all the wild rumors swirling around about Derpy.

In summary, we're past the point of no return, clearly Derpy represents people handicapped in one or other, but it's actually a wonderful opportunity to show them love and tolerance acceptance. Now go read the whole thing
