Since I'm picking up typing fast again I got interested in how fast everpony here can type, my average back then was around 110 - 120 wpm but as you can see I've gotten a bit rusty. So here's my result after a few days! So how do you stack up? I kinda expected that I was better, but I guess thats a pretty good score. Nothing amazing. It is kinda strange to me though, seeing as i spend most of my waking hours behind a keyboard... I guess that makes sense though. I spend a lot of time rewriting things, and thinking about what i'm writing. I guess i'm not the fastest around, but i do think i manage to get a lot of quality work done. I have to look at the keyboard when I'm typing, otherwise I can't type at all. 2 years ago, I had to take this typing class. I think once I got 35 gwam, which to this day I still don't know what that means. I think it's something words a minute. You guys are fast typers. Well, I did a course for fast typing since I'll be needing it for IT. It just takes a lot of practice and that practice is something you do unconsiously while surfing the web, writing an essay, etc. And yea, everything around or above 100 or 110~ is real good. The fastest typer in the world types at an average of 150 WPM and her highest is 212, so my 137 isn't anything special since I only got that by warming up plenty before taking the test. EDIT: I seem to be leveled off at 30 WPM which is better than what I was doing on my first try -snip- maybe next time I won't freak out over a first try also, I think I type a bit faster on mobile version so whenever I get the chance to I will hopefully download it for my phone Nicely done! An increase of 10 WPM, that's great! Wish I could improve so much in such a little time. Also, I've improved over the couple few days, here's my new average!
