Eating utensils

Yesterday, I was eating Pad Thai with a fork, and thought about how much I preferred kuàizi (Chipsticks) over Western cutlery for Oriental dishes. So, I was just wondering what most people prefer to use when eating.

Seriously though, it depends on what kind of food. When eating a steak or something, I'd rather use a fork and knife, but when it comes to stuff like sushi, I can't live without chopsticks.

 

I voted for western, because I use it most of the time and it fits the majority of dishes.

Just Kidding. I like eating some food with toothpicks for some reason. I don't know why, but I just love eating with toothpicks. Also, chopsticks.

I voted hands since I like eating with my hands when I can but I tend to use western cutlery since I grew up using them I'm horrible with chopsticks.

I prefer straws, you have never indulged in fine dining until you have chopped up a sirloin steak with a straw.  I can't understand how you could eat with anything else but the good ol' straw. Eating Pizza with a straw is just divine.

I just use Western cutlery for well soups and other food that you can eat with all three. If its sushi, I will use chopsticks and stuff, and if I was a pony I'll just eat with my hooves.

I prefer to eat with utensils. I've been using them for so long that i've gotten use to them. I would like to use chopsticks but i still cant figure out how the heck your suppose to eat with them. (Handling them is hard)

I just basically use Forks knives spoons and that stuff. If I eat something I don't need that for and I'm not eating in public I'll just eat with my hands though .

I use Western style cuterly, or my hands. When I can, I use my hands. My dad is funny, he's the complete opposite and will eat pizza and fries with a fork. xD

 

I never use chopsticks because, to be honest, I never eat Asian food. The rest of the options wouldn't work for me.

Obviously I eat with a spoon, fork , knife ect (and occasionally spork). However, when it comes to Asian food, I just gotta eat it with chopsticks...otherwise, it ruins the feeling for me. And stuff like ribs and whatnot I eat with my hands (but it's really messy..). 

 

Well, since we all know how utensils work, I'll just talk about chopsticks. I mean, at first they're pretty hard to use, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty fun. Chopsticks make eating food fun. However, whenever I see Asian people eating with them, they make it look so easy!!!
