The title basically says it all. What planets that is not Earth is yours favourite?

Mine is Neptune beacouse I love the dark blue cloud colour, The Dark Spot and it's satellite Triton.

EDIT: Added Pluto for the nostalgia.

There is only one planet I could pick, and sadly I cannot pick it since you decided to not put it up there.

Where is my Pluto, everyone knows that is the best planet. That has always been my favourite planet, and even though its supposedly a dwarf planet, it's still a planet in my mind.

Hello!

Meh, Most planets in our solar system are quite boring...

I'll have to choose Exoplanets, simply because they are the most worth exploring and are the most beuatiful. (There are more exoplanets, not only Kepler22b and Gliese581d)

I actually quite like Neptune as well. Not because it's a very astrophysical neon-green colour, but because it's so far away that a lot of things about it remain a mystery. It's like a "legendary" sort of planet. It intrigues me.

I'd say Jupiter. Mostly because it has like 75 moons, most of which have a surface. I'd love to be able to see the giant hurricane up close, and see what's at the core of the planet. Jupiter's probably my favorite planet, other than Earth.

When I was your age, Pluto was still considered a planet.  Don't I sound like a geezer saying that?  :P

I'm going to vote for Saturn because of it's awesome rings.

I agree. It's still a planet in general. So it should be up there, I don;t see why so many people are making a big deal about it being a dwarf.

That's like saying a dwarf isn't a human.  <_<

I'd have to say Jupiter is my favorite. It's one of the biggest planets in our system and it's made of gas. I'd love to see what the inner part of the planet looks like but so far that's been impossible. Such mystery!

These are probably mine second favourite cause of the unknown sorunding them. But sadly we will never be able to live on most of the exoplanets since 95%~ of them are Hot Jupiters.

The inside of Jupiter is probably an ocean of metallic hydrogen and helium.

To use spoilers, at first write

Then when you end your sentence, write [/spoiler ]

And to be honest, i think we will be able to live on exoplanets one day, they're not all so "Hot"

I've always loved Mars for some reason. Or "Red Planet". I mainly like it because of the massive volcano on there, Mount Olympus, even though it's the second tallest (:

Sorry, I couldn't resist. 6:33 sounded so cool on stage when mostly what I could hear was a contrabassoon playing it. I think that tipped me over and made this my favorite.

Oh, sorry, enough of that... xD I don't know. I find the gas planets look the coolest. It's probably between Jupiter and Neptune. They have the more interesting patterns on them.

I'd either have to go with Mars. Mars is our nearest neighbor, and it's the most likely to be habitable by humans in the future. I also think it looks pretty cool and is pretty similar to Earth compared to other planets.

Plus, Gustav Holst wrote some great music about it :P

55 Cancri e because it's made entirely of diamond. Just imagine how valuable such a planet would be. Too bad no one will ever get to see it in person.

Pfft, mars? Have you even played Doom? No, but seriously. It's the best candidate for terraforming and colonizing that is for sure. It's atmosphere isn't that different from ours at it's current state anyway. It's main problem is having too dense of an atmosphere and the fact that it's core doesn't have an electromagnetic field like Earth's does.

Sedna, definitely.  If you've never heard of it, that's because it was only famous for a year or so (2006 I believe) when it got close enough to the rest of the solar system for us to observe it.

Mars is my favorite, it's very mysterious and a lot that makes it more interesting

Poor Pluto. My favorite is Mars but, poor Pluto. I like Mars because of the mystery and controversy behind it. I believe there's life out there, but impossible to find throughout space and time. "Somewhere out there in the vast nothingness of space, somewhere far away in space and time. Starring upward at the gleaming stars in the obsidian sky. We're marooned on a small island, in an endless sea, confined to a tiny spit of sand, unable to escape."

MERCURY!

A planet of extremes, with temperatures reaching over 700°F (370°C) during the day and -280°F (-170°C) at night due to a lack of atmosphere!

MERCURY!

Named after the Roman god of merchants, trade, and travel, this little planet takes just 88 Earth-days to complete its cycle of sidereal revolution around the Sun, but one day on Mercury is 58.7 Earth-days—that's two-thrids of its whole year!

MERCURY!

A planet guaranteed to make you feel good about your weight, because you will only weigh 38% of what you do on Earth!

DON'T MISS THIS LITTLE FIRECRACKER'S PERFORMANCE AT THIS WEEK'S PLANETARY SMACKDOWN NEXT SUNDAY AT THE SOLAR STADIUM! BE THERE TO WITNESS MERCURY'S GLORY AS IT OUT-COMPETES EVERY OTHER CONTESTANT WITH ITS FABULOUS CRATERED SURFACE AND NOT MUCH ELSE!

SUNDAY!

SUNDAY!

SUNDAY!

MERCURY! EXPLOSION. IN YOUR FACE!!

I also kind of like Saturn.

I was a fan of Jupiter when I was a kid, but I didn't really notice how awesome Saturn was. While I liked Jupiter for its size, I didn't know at the time how incredibly freaking enormous stars could get. Saturn is visually appealing to me and has 62 moons, including Titan.

Also, poor Pluto. The Magic School Bus made you seem so awesome...

Despite the official ruling that Pluto isn't a planet, its status is still highly debatable (and debated), and it even fails to meet some of the criteria established for defining planets in the initial wake of this controversy.

I'm calling it a planet, and I'm calling it my favorite. Or Neptune. Either is fine. Both of those frozen, solitary worlds metaphorically reflect more qualities of myself than any of the others.

That's like saying a dwarf isn't a human.  <_<

But they aren't! They even have their own pantheon!

You offend Moradin.

When I was your age, Pluto was still considered a planet. Don't I sound like a geezer saying that? :P

That was still in contention while I was in school.

You know I'ma have to say Saturn.. Why? Because rings.. :D.

No but seriously, I just like the rings, they look like they'd be fun to glide on or something(You know if that where possible)

That also for some reason make me hungry... Is that.. weird?

Bah who cares.*Eats Saturns rings* Mmm, Tastes like onion rings :D.

In all honesty, I like the exo-planets purely for the mystery,

what all lies beyond our solar system....

are those other planets safe for harboring life or are they just a big hellhole floating in space?

so many questions to be answered I find it to be astounding

Neptune would be a close second because Blue is my favorite color #totallyrelevant :P
