I haven't purchased a Rainbow Dash figure for quite a while, but I would like to add both of these to my recently somewhat-neglected Dashrine:

This one even includes Tank!  I don't currently have a Tank figure.  And the accessories (Tank doesn't count as an accessory, as he is a beloved pet) actually seem appropriate.

 

A figure showing Rainbow in her "Power Ponies" Zap outfit; always thought this was a cool and honestly pretty sexy look for her.

 

...I'll ask Babe if I'm allowed to buy these. ^ ^;

 

I've started an ambitious (at least, ambitious for me) art project.  It's based on the rather odd but memorable album cover for Led Zeppelin's "Houses of the Holy"; only I've replaced each person from the original image with Babe (Rainbow).  By the way: Her tail is currently cropped short, and the drawing reflects that change:

So far, this is only the uncolored foreground; though it's still the most important part.  So what's so ambitious about this project?  I have every intention of drawing and coloring the entire background.  I don't do backgrounds.  Like, ever.  I'm lazy, and backgrounds scare me.  It won't be anywhere near perfect, but - if this pans out - I may try "ponifying" other album covers.

I would've liked to have seen more of Rainbow in the season premiere.  A couple of moments gave me hope, but they didn't really lead anywhere.  Thinking back: The first premiere that took place in the Crystal Empire showed quite a bit of Rainbow that still stands out in my memory.  You know: Interrogating citizens, intimidating onlookers, jousting, wearing armor, eating crystal corn on the cob.

 

Yes, what I'm saying is: Season three premiere > season six premiere; particularly where Rainbow-related content is concerned.  Not that I disliked the season six premiere, really.

Celestia: I wouldn't advise it, Rainbow Dash.  Those storm clouds are not like the ones you know!

 

I kinda wanted to see Rainbow kick some storm cloud butt.  And no: I don't really mean to imply anything about storm cloud anatomy.

Babe and I have been watching the anime Kill la Kill lately, and I thought I'd see what sort of crossover art had been done with Rainbow (some of these might already have been posted).

That is, until you take the following into consideration:

 

1. Rainbow puttin' on the sexy eyebrow look.

 

2. Starlight's look of possibly-shock.

 

3. The fact that AJ's this all right with it, for some reason.

 

And it's all followed by my personal pick for The First Best Face of Season Six:

 

I'm honestly not even implying anything. xD  I'm just finding more reasons to enjoy the premiere.

Well, other than trying to evacuate the Crystal Ponies and trying to clear the clouds, Rainbow Dash may not have done much in the Season premiere, but she'll make up for it in the seventh episode, where she finally becomes a Wonderbolt. The question is where does her character go from there? I'm stumped about that.
