Meghan McCarthy has mentioned on her Twitter a new Fluttershy moment for season 4.

 

More of her cuteness with squeaks?

Or will we see more of her going mad and scream?

Or her crying?

(Dont like when Flutters cry )

 

We'll have to see what happens next month.

From what it sounds like it may have something to do with the Power Ponies thing, which would be rather neat. "FLUTTERSHY SMASH! .....If that's okay with you."

 

I have to say, my excitement is starting to intensify even more. I am actually a bit surprised we haven't seen more Tweets at this point but I suppose surprises can be better of course. I am just so excited at this point, anything helps.

I know some people won't like this but I'm pretty happy about it. One-on-one interaction with the mane 6 is a nice way of getting them closer together. Which is something that I think was missing in season 3.

 

I hope Twilight spends at least one scene with each of the other mane 6 too help close the Twilight is leaving her friends fear that is kinda going around.

 

I know we're not going to get this but, I want too know why Twilight was able to fly perfectly at the end of MMC.

Like many others have said, some things that happen during a song are given a certain creative license to defy the norm.

 

There were two pinkie's in the smile song, long before the mirror pool ever showed up.

Babs Seed doesn't really have seeds for eyes or have the ability to become massive and step through cinema screens.

Rarity levitates everything in her dress-making room at once despite how taxing that must be for a unicorn whose talent isn't magic.

 

 

It was just a visual oomph to close out the episode, not something that's supposed to stick.

At least, that's my take on it.

I like to think of Twilight's first flight like my very first swim to the deep end of a pool when I was a kid.

 

Sure, you think you get it down pat at first. Then you notice there's six feet of water (or in this case, 100 feet of air) beneath you. Suddenly you stop being an expert.

There are also livestream sites where you can watch the episodes live as they premiere.

(The only downside is that you have to sit through some ad breaks. Also, the quality isn't always the best.)

Are you talking about season 4? it's not out yet...

 

Because otherwise, you just need to put mlp + the episode title in the search bar, and something always comes up.

Well from the looks of that picture it looks like flying lessons. I ,mean the look on Twilight's face and Rainbow Dash's face looks like Twilight is trying to fly and Rainbow Dash is determining her. 

From what we've got so far season 4 sure looks like it's gonna be awesome. I wonder if they're gonna release another sneek peek clip like with season 3?

Just one quick thought that hadn't occurred to me earlier (but I wonder if it occurred to anyone else): To explain the discontinuity between the end of Magical Mystery Cure (where Twilight appears to be flying quite well), Equestria Girls (where she's "still getting used to" her wings and doesn't use them at all), and the apparent presence of flying lessons in some form in Season 4...

 

I know people have mentioned that songs get artistic license to allow characters to do things they normally can't do.  But I wonder if her flying could also be explained by having a spell cast on her from one of the other princesses?  Sort of a "Here, let me help you enjoy these until you learn how to use them properly" kind of thing?

Tara Strong came out and said that Twilight was staying in Ponyville so that clears that up.  

 

The Twitter post was implying that this is indeed a three part episode that we will see parts 2 and 3 of later on.

 

That still begs the question of whether or not Mayor Mare will be able to keep her job.

 

Will Twilight be Princess in title only or will Ponyville's democracy be replaced with a monarchy?

 

And if that happens, what will happen to the Mayor?

 

It feels like every answer we get just leads to more questions similar to this...

Even before Twilight became a princess, the citizens of Ponyville already seemed to turn to her, as well as her friends, for most of their problems, and I don't think Mayor Mare already does much of anything outside making public announcements or maybe some mundane political actions we never see because she rarely has much relevance to the story.

 

It's like how (shockingly) the city of Angel Grove from Power Rangers has police and military, yet it's the Power Rangers that save the city from evil on what is practically a daily basis, the police and military are still here, they're just greatly overshadowed by people who are, for unique reasons, far more capable.

 

So bottom line; the things Twilight usually does in Ponyville actually don't change that much from her being a princess, if anything, it probably merely makes what she does have more official light to it, if you catch my drift.

If you ask me, "Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Ponyville" sounds like a really dumb title.   Ponyville's charm comes from it being such a small, mundane town that ordinary ponies live in, so while having an alicorn living there is in itself extraordinary, I don't think they'd shake up the town's political structure that much for it.  I'm guessing that Mayor Mare is going to continue to be the political figurehead of the town, and Twilight's role as Princess will be either to have authority over a larger region or (what I think is more likely) to share a particular set of responsibilities with Celestia and Luna, governing over all of Equestria.

The synopsis sounded pretty enticing. The very fact the Everfree forest is the problem now is an exciting idea and we'll get to see the history of the Elements of Harmony. Can't believe they actually mentioned Twilight balancing her duties as a princess and friendship with the others.

 

My only disappointment is Princess Luna and Celestia missing. They are just gone because plot device. But all in all I say that this sounds like a promising episode. Just hope they can top Discord villain wise.

The only thing I fear about this episode is not being able to see the younger Princess Celestia. From the looks of that animatic clip, if Twilight does indeed go back in time and experiences what Celestia did when Luna first became Nightmare Moon, does this mean Twilight will be appearing completely in Celestia's place throughout, or will this only be shown at first before we see her?

And so the synopsis had finally been revealed but not the title and maybe a new canon intro. I guess that the timberwolves they are coming back in this episode.
