Any Asian Bronies in the herd here?

So, is there any brony or pegeasister here that is part of the herd? If so, where do you live and how did you join the herd without television to see it?

I'm A Chinese with Filipino nationality, and I'm a pegeasister. I was introduced to the show when Bronyland's creator, Talisman, joined a Pokemon forum. It was put in the Affilirates section of the web, and I clicked it. Resistance was futile!

Yo, Korean American brony right here.  There aren't too many of us (in fact, I'm the only Asian brony I know)  but I'd love to connect with those that are out there.  I live in the States (New Jersey specifically) and found the show pretty much just like anyone else around here.  People were talking about the show on another anime forum, so I decided to check the show out on Youtube.

Here's hoping that we can find more of us!  And they are out there- who else would be making the chinese/Japanese/Korean fandub scenes online?

There are quite a good number of Asian Bronies out there - myself, a Filipino, included. Although, from a Brony census, most Bronies are in fact of White descent, but there are still a good majority of Bronies from other countries and continents, such as Europe and Asia.

As for me, I'm a Filipino who resides in South California, so it wasn't too hard to be exposed to the show. My story is simple: the power of the internet and curiosity.

A Chinese British-born brony living in Australia here! In my city of Adelaide there aren't too many Asian bronies, but I'm practically skin colour blind anyway, so I don't really care if you're white, black, yellow, red or some mixture - if your a brony then that's awesome! Have a nice day.

Taiwanese brony! I have two friends who are also Asian bronies as well and this other guy at my school who's also an Asian brony. Oh well I guess it doesn't matter where we're from. Being able to meet other bronies is already a great thing to do.

WOW, I thought I was the only Vietnamese American Brony on the forums, but you proved me wrong XD!!! I recall from the Brony Survey that we only make up ~5% of the entire brony population. Yay for being in the minority

Have a brohoof all the way from Northern California !

Getting back on topic, I don't think that your ethnicity should affect whether or not you watch the show. MLP was created so that everyone regardless of race, or gender could enjoy it.

Filipino brony here. Essentially raised from birth in America though, so you wouldn't know I'm Filipino by my demeanor. I've travelled a bit though, so I'm pretty in touch with my heritage... alien as it is to me.

I'm a Chinese brony and I live in North America.

How I found the show? The power of friendship! (Yeah my friends knew about it.)

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it save equistria with its five candy coloured friends and shoot rainbows at bad guys using their necklaces and tiara unless you're celestia

Indian brony here.

I live in West Bengal.

Learnt about the show gradually as it became a meme.

Read an article about it on cracked.

The article was about disturbing pony fanfiction.

Number 1 was rainbow factory, so I read it.

Been a fan of the show and the community ever since.

EDIT- I watch through youtube.

My friend is a Filipino brony, and from what I've seen a lot of the Asian bronies are from the Philippines.

I'm still not quite sure why..

Dovashy makes me think of soap xD.

Woooow. So many Filipino bronies~

And FINALLY, some Asian bronies willing to transcend the border lines.

I hail from Singapore, the little red dot~

And it seems more and more that there are bronies in Vancouver specifically. Hm......

I dont know that many active bronies in Singapore, but I tell you, pony toys are EVERYWHERE now here. Even in the convenience store in a train station I saw a plushie of Applejack being sold. So I swear there are tons of bronies here, just they arent willing to show their faces.....
