I think the first game I ever played was probably the second player (Luigi) in Super Mario World. That was when it was new. I was 6 years old, and it was, like, the greatest thing. But me and my 6-year-old derpy hands couldn't play it very well.

The first game I played seriously and completed was Super Mario RPG. I think I was 8 or 9 by then. This probably sparked my love of RPGs. Games were cool, but I was never good at platforming games, and my only image of RPGs was Final Fantasy, which, at 8 years old, looks very intimidating and complicated. So this was perfect to really get me into gaming.

Well my first video game system was a super nintendo. The first game I ever had and played was Donkey Kong Country. I know it was the first one I played because it was my most favorite at the time, and every other game I played I got after Donkey Kong.

Well the earliest games  I remember playing was Blast Corps and Mario 64. I remember playing Blast Corps and having lots of fun, but being completely blown away by Mario 64.

The first game I ever played was Crash Bandicoot 3 for the Playstation 1.  To this day that is one of my favorite games.  It has a good storyline and some nice graphics for a PS1 game after all.  There are vids and pics of this game in the spoiler below.

The first game I ever played was pong on my dad's old Atari, he would let me win every once and a while to get me to start liking videogames. For Christmas I got Kingdom Hearts (I was eight), and I finally ended up beating it two years later. So the first game was technically pong, but I consider Kingdom Hearts to be my first real game.

The very first video game I played was in 1989 and I think it was... Some Mario game that involved a lot of jumping with just one level, handling levers. I think it was one of those big one-game computers.

The first video game i ever played was either A Bugs Life for GBC or Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64. Looks like Bugs Life GBC was released in 1998 while Super Mario 64 was 1996 so Mario 64 probably was first for me when i was 2-3 years old. Super Mario 64 still is an amazing game while Bug's Life for GBC.... is pretty poor.

The first video game i played was Mickey's Speedway USA on my first console Nintendo 64. I still have my Nintendo 64 as well as the game and it's still in wonderful condition. I often play it, just for that nostalgia feel. Just starting up the N64 brings me back. It wasn't the best game ever, but i managed to spend hours on it back in the day.

The first video game I played is this one:

My dad gave me an NES for my birthday when I was...5 or 6 (iirc?) and it came with the gun obviously. And since then I couldn't stop playing with that game. Although I remember when playing with two ducks was harder than one duck. xD

Oh I used to love that game. Though I didn't own the system or the game, I was able to play it when visiting  my friend. It was this game that made me love any game where I could use a gun (especially realistic kind of guns you see in arcades in games like Time Crisis and Virtua Cop.) Haven't played this kind of game in a long time. ... I sure would like to.

the first game I played officially would be some racing game on one of those game and what thingies, though it was not from the game and watch series, but used the same principle. As to first game on a console using seperate game modules, my first would be good old Tetris

The first game I ever played was super mario world for the SNES. It was my parents console that they had hooked up to that old sony TV we still have. I used to get so angry at that game when I was younger because I was a bit of a reckless speed runner.

I replayed it for the gameboy advance when I was older and I made it a personal goal to 100% complete it. I managed to achieve that goal as well as finally complete ocarina of time for an added challenge.

EDIT: lol I forgot a letter.

River raid for Atari 2600 is prob my absolute first.... heh I distinctly remember chewing the rubber covers off the controllers too..

Still one of my all time faves by a long shot.

One the PC front though i'd go with the ol' Appleiie game Load Runner as first and fave.

This is a hard question because I've been an avid console gamer ever since I can remember xD Though, the oldest memory I have is of a California Raisins game for the PC on MS-DOS. Props if you know who the California Raisins are :3
