Thanks for all the replies guys. You're all so nice. So far I've been having a great time here.

 

So yeah just post anything about Luna. My favorite Luna scene is when she turns all the toy spiders into real spiders and when they all get on the web she asks "How many points do I receive?!". Lol. It's cute because she still thinks they're playing a game.

I'm not a big fan of Celestial either but I dont hate her.

Luna is pretty cool, though not on my top favs, like she is for a lot of the fandom. Celestia is pretty much on par with Luna for me. I'm kinda having to agree with Callisto with Luna sometimes being overhyped.

I think it's mostly the "medival" voice that gets on my nerves, with the royal "we" and "thou" and whatnot. Just feels like a gimmick.

I get it. But that's actually one of the reasons why I like her. I thought it was cute how she tried to lower her voice so that she would seem less scary to the other ponies.

Anyway. As I was about to say...

 

In a way it was a gimmick. The writers wrote her that way on purpose so give her character that old fashion feal and to show that she had been gone for a while

 

She didn't do that in Sleepless in Ponyville in order to show character development

Anyways, I actually only recently became a Luna fan. I was re-watching the episodes and when I got to Luna Eclipsed it just sorta clicked. Did that happen to anypony else?
