No, I do not. If I met someone else IRL who was into the show, however, I might. I'm not a closet-brony, but I don't go out of my way to volunteer that information. 

 

Nothing wrong with it if you do, though, as long as you're being mindful of others.

I wish I can do a few mlp references like you guys do. I might do a 20% cooler and 10 seconds flat. I'm mostly shy and don't talk a lot in real life. I think I might do it to a few friends of mine this coming school year. Not my football friends or else... who knows

Nine times out of ten, I'll wear an MLP T-shirt to work. (The rule is a collared shirt, but it can be unbuttoned if we have a shirt under it). I also have a LOT of buttons on my lanyard.

A kid will see MLP on it and ask if they can have my button.

 

A lot of kids (and the occasional brony) will point them out and give me a high-hive or fist-bump. Also, since I work in the mall, we have kids that come in with MLP Build-A-Bears. If it's out of the box and they are carrying it, I'll say something like, "I like your Applejack."

 

But unless someone draws attention to something, I don't really talk about MLP at work.

I make subtle references similar to the one given in the original post--not only to the show, but to the fandom itself, often referencing PONY.MOV or FiW. Most of my Brony friends enjoy the references, and non-Bronies just think I'm being clever and original (if somewhat random).

On a recent essay I had for government I put 2 MLP references in it. My essay was about whether or not we should place a border on Mexico. I wrote "California and Mexico should get along like friends because friendship is magic." And I ended my essay with "You gotta share, You gotta care". And for my Summer presentation for my Senior year, in one of the slides I said I made a Rainbow Dash plush at Build A Bear and I typed "My summer just got 20% cooler". And when I play a TCG, I sometimes say Discord instead of discard.

I'm one of those bronies who they are so open about it, it's sickening XD I go to school with multiple pony things (My messenger bag has Dr. Hooves on it, my 3DS has the mane 6, I have a brony bracelet I wear everyday, I'll wear one my 4 shirts, when pajamas day comes around, I'll be wearing my mane 6 pajamas, my beanie has Derpy on it, etc.), Hell, even Fluttershy is in my School Photo XD so yeah, I'll make references here and there, and sometimes break out into a chorus of Discord for no reason XD

I've only wore brony merch maybe once in public, and other than a couple items, I don't own much merch itself. Not really! I mean SOMETIMES I would wear a pony shirt or someone might just glance at my iPod wallpaper or see that an episode is playing on it. My parents aren't exactly fans of bronies (Due to certain stereotypes) so I tend to be careful around them, but I will almost always sneak a reference in if I can, usually something subtle, though not all the time, sometimes I find myself whistling the theme song when I have nothing else to do.
