I just went to see Gravity yesterday, and I have to say, Sandra Bullock did an amazing job in the movie. I think she's gonna hit the oscars for that one.

Alright, yesterday I went to the theaters to watch the movie "The Conjuring". I have heard quite a lot about it so I thought, why not. I went there with my cousin.

Well, I can see why so many people think that it is so scary, I mean my cousin got really scared and he's older than me. But to me.. Eh. Wasn't that scary tongue.png I've seen way scarier.

The movie itself was.. I don't know.. It was good, but had some things in it that I didn't like. The biggest thing of those was the thing that I often see in american movies (guess why) and that is the whole "god fixes everything" blah blah stuff. Sorry if you take offense by this, I mean if there's a demon in the movie, I understand, of course it needs to be defeated by god powers or whatever (I'm not religious, I don't know any terms ok? tongue.png ) but in this movie it was way too easy.

They just read some words from a book and then the demon disappeared. Look I'm not an exorcism master or anything but come on. That is way too easy.

The other movie was World War Z. I saw this just some hour ago. This movie was okay. The story was basically like most other zombie movies out there. The worst things with this movie was probably how they did all the "stuff that only happens in movies" Such as: Everyone is ridiculously clumsy, Some people randomly appear from nowhere, main characters are invincible. I mean come on. They crash with an airplane and of course, ONLY the main characters survives? Really? What's the odds for that...

However, the thing I really liked with this movie is that we finally got to see some "adventure". Not literally adventure, but we got to see other parts of the earth and not just one town.

I just saw Gravity yesterday, and it's easily the best film of 2013. The plot is pretty simple and minimalistic and that's just fine. The theme of never giving up is never outright stated but it's inspiring nonetheless. And that feeling of isolation is something I haven't felt in a while.

Assassin's Creed: Embers

Could stand to be a little longer and isn't the worst adaptation of games in a movie. A nice little tie off to the end of Ezio's story so it's not just an abrupt "we got bored of him"

The last movie I watched was Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail[/], and I nearly die of laugher every time. That movie is the source of these quotes:

"There are some who call me... Tim..."

And

"It is only a flesh wound."

Saw Metallica: Through the Never on Tuesday. Not too bad, was hoping for more scenes involving the protagonist, but eh, what can you really expect from a concert film? It also awakened a new Metallica fan in me, so yeah. Loving the movie's namesake song, I've had it stuck in my head for two days already. @_@

Watched 'Disturbia' yesterday. I actually really liked it. Good, enjoyable film. I don't understand all the hate it receives. It may have taken inspiration from Rear Window but it's great. Kept me at the edge of my seat.

Django Unchained..
I don't know why it tooke me so long to watch it, because DAMN, it's such a good movie!
I'm a big fan of Quentin Tarantino's work and this one didn't disappoint apart from the fact that Jamie Foxx's acting skills don't live up to the standards of Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson.

Have a nice cold pint, and wait for all this to blow over..

My friend recommended me this film which is titled Submarine and it is absolutely amazing. It is a very British 1980's film with some great retro references to Super 8 films and Polaroid camera's. Submarine has a real gritty edge to the way it's been filmed as well and it really does feel like a true 80's film.

It's a romance and drama film with very sparse moments of humour.

10/10 Definitely watch this if you can!

Saw The Conjuring last night.

It was good, but I never found myself scared. At least the movie got creative to a certain extent, rather than only relying on jump scares for the horror.

The last movie I watched was...I think it was The Royal Tenenbaums. I love Wes Anderson movies, and I have the entire collection of his films released on DVDs.
