Yea so, I hate cake

I'm not too big on cake myself, how ever I do adore cheesecake with strawberries. Other than that I like Pie lots of Pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, blueberry pie, pinkie pie. =D

Pies are pretty good too, especially key lime pie. Key lime is the only pie that can ever compare to the delectableness of chocolate cake. Apple pie ain't bad though.

 

Chocolate is just way too overdone, I'd much rather just eat a cupcake or a brownie (no not THOSE kind of brownies). Vanilla is also better than chocolate, why can't we have vanilla bars?

 

Cuz chocolate is one of the best flavors for sweets, especially candy bars. Vanilla just can't compare.

Of course, I'd much rather prefer cupcakes, brownies, and cookies to cake anyway.

Ouch.....right in the childhood. Dawn's line of thinking reminds me of "Cupcakes"...*shudders*. While I'm here I might as well talk about cake some more. Carrot cake is really good for those of you who haven't tried it, spice cake is also good. Frosting in excess is never a good thing, the less frosting the better. Just thought I would add that apple pie is just okay, as long as it isn't overloaded with apples.

I haven't tried spice cake, or even heard of it actually. Is it anything like cinnamon? I do enjoy the occasional cinnamon roll.

Cinnamon, nutmeg, and so on. I quite like it. Unless you know someone who bakes, or are willing to pay a premium at a custom bakery, it's going to be tricky to find any. I do some baking myself, so I experiment with stuff from time to time.

 

Edit: They still make vanilla Nesquick? I thought they stopped doing that years ago.

I feel ya, I remember when I was younger I could eat sweets and treats 24/7. For the last decade I've absolutely had to have water with all confectionery or bakery goods, it's like all I'm eating is OP chunks of sugar and chocolate nowadays. I must have been cruel to puppies in a past life

The texture of cake is hard to achieve correctly ass if it is too mushy it tastes like sugary water, if it's too firm it tastes like a sugar coated brick, if it is however just right, it tastes like sugary much the moment it enters your mouth.

This is a delicious topic. Delectable and mouth watering. I enjoy me some cake. Especially cake that I make. I make cake pretty much just right. I enjoy all kinds of flavors. I also love me some cheesecake. I don't mind ice cream cake, but I prefer actual cake or cheesecake. Some cake flavors I like are; chocolate, lemon, marble, white, red velvet, coffee crumb, and spice. For cheesecake flavors, I usually prefer classic New York style.

 

Everyone has their own tastes in food, just as they have their own tastes in everything else. So I don't care if some people just don't like cake.

 

Also, I have never heard of a red velvet cheesecake. Sounds interesting since I like red velvet cake.

I don't give a flying fuck. Pinkie Pie is actually one of my least favorite ponies.

Given that you live in America, you may find spice cake under the name 'maple cake'. Unfortunately, I find commercial maple cake to be pretty far on the sugary side because instead of substituting maple syrup for the sugar, they usually just *add* the syrup to the already high levels of sugar they always use in commercial cakes.
