I'd probably marry Twilight or Pinkie. I'd drive AJ or Rarity insane, so no to them. Maybe Rainbow or Fluttershy, although I just don't really see that working.

Twilight Sparkle, hooves down. I can't stand it when people don't think things out, and I suffer from anxiety, like her. The struggles we face, the personality, our love of learning, the way we think, even our interests (I'm going into aerospace/astronautical engineering professionally (rocket scientist), and she loves astronomy. I love that. I'd actually rather have a wife who's into astronomy than my professional passion) , and our mannerisms (we both like to exposit. Remember the "This is an animometer..." scene? That's totally me! I'd love to listen to her and learn and share my own knowledge ) are all so much the same.

I'm nice'n all, but I'm also quite distant from everyone just because I don't trust that they'd really understand me and my interests and passions, and I'm not really confident I'd be able to share them well. And, frankly, most people don't share my interests. They get bored if I try to talk about them.

 

It's really quite something to think someone out there could really understand me, think like me, have similar passions... It means a lot to me. I AM going to marry a real-life Twilight Sparkle, and no less.

 

 

As for the other mane 6...

 

AJ's great, but wouldn't understand my quirks, and would be bored by my passions or wouldn't understand (that last part applies to... About everyone ever. It's sad how few are passionate about the Elegance of the universe). I also don't imagine her being particularly patient or understanding. She doesn't understand that some problems, you can't just "get over it" (like anxiety, depression and my various quirks).

 

RD... I don't think I need to say much. AJ's issues and more xD

 

Pinkie... Yeah. Great friend. But definitely doesn't match up to what I said earlier about Twilight.

 

Rarity seems to manipulative, dreamy, and falls right along with a crowd. This really bothers me along the "I don't like people not thinking" thing.

 

Fluttershy is super nice and all, and would make a great mother I think. She's definitely the runner-up to Twilight, there's no real deal-breakers or anything negative here, it's just Twilight, well, all the things I've said about Twilight. She doesn't have those.

Lol, I'm Mormon. The polygamist folk are a band of excommunicated people not actually affiliated with the actual church itself ^.^; polygamy is not allowed in our religion, so joining the church wouldn't help you with that

It is a long shot that is true, but since Luna is not really your typical princess character I think she would be a bit more attainable than Celestia though Fluttershy may be tough as well due to her nature but there are plenty of shy women or mares in this case who are still able to find love so it is probably a bit more likely with her. In my earlier post I picked Applejack with me being more a day person being the tie breaker but now I have also developed a crush on Twilight as well because I have almost as much in common with her as I do with Applejack though my crush on Applejack is a bit stronger in part due to it appealing to my protective side with her being the most overrated character I have seen in this or any show in quite some time.
