Would us Humans fight to the bitter end against TCB or lie down and submit?

Would we Humans fight to the bitter end against genocidal Ponies of The Conversion Bureau or lie down and submit?

 

 

You know the usual thing that happens in many Conversion Bureau stories, where TCB Ponies invade Earth, where we Humans face the slowly expanding wall of death that is The Barrier, the seemingly immortal Celestia and the ever growing hordes of zombie Newfoals charging at us.

 

Would we break down in fear and submit and accept our fate?

 

Or would we fight to the bitter end, even though we know we can't win? Unless help arrives like from very powerful canon like minded Ponies coming to save us.

Well I think knowing most humans we would fight to protect ourselves, I mean its that or we all face an imminent doom basically.

 

We may as well try and hold them off, in hopes of discovering a plan or something.

 

Although I'd feel bad killing ponies if I had to, heck even zombie ones possibly. I already probably can hardly if ever bring myself to kill another human, much less an adorable pony.

Humans are pretty stubborn creatures...creatures who usually refuse to die and plan on fighting to the end, no matter what the challenge. So, us humans would keep fighting until the very end. It's either kill or be killed.

I would fight to the bitter end, that's just how we humans are. We will always fight, giving up is never an option. As long as it would only be zombie ponies it would be ok. Not if just normal ones, then I would rather give up, I would not hurt a cute pony. So yeah, come at me zombies!

Some of us would give up and other would fight to the very last. I don't know what I would do. However I would hope I would at least try to be of some help. This would be like attack on titan with ponies. The steel of a person can only truly be tested when the horde is attacking them and they see the actual threat.

I'd say we'd fight back with extreme prejudice. Human kind has never really taken kindly to an invading force between one another, so i doubt we would just sit back while another race shows up and goes "Hey, we're going to subjugate your entire planet and there's nothing you can do about it". Yeah, some may submit without a moment's hesitation but I'd like the think the vast majority would go down swinging, even after learning of their own possible impending doom.

I think that humans are borderline cocky about our defenses.  We are always willing to kill things that challenge our dominance as a species.

I'm not exactly a sage, but i'm glad you think of me so highly .

 

I think its partly being cocky about defenses, and also because we don't want to be ruled by another species, we enjoy our rule and dominance since we have been the dominant species since the dawn of time basically.

 

To simply give that up is just, well its not natural, I don't think anyone would want to go and lose our freedom without fighting for it.

 

Plus as humans we always want to be better then the next guy.. Or zombie pony overlord .

 

And a good bit of people are totally fine with war, especially when its that or we get turned into zombies and lose our free will. Plus our sentience probably aswell.

I think that we would fight to the bitter end against the zombie foals and Celestia's forces. Since, humans don't give up until they finish what they started so I don't see us surrendering to the zombie ponies.

No no, that's not what I meant. Talk about whatever you like, I just thought one TCB thread would be more efficient for bronies who are fans of the story. You can ask a mod to merge them if you want; they do it all the time.

... That being said I don't think any of us will survive at all, as the Empire is always expanding and never-stopping force. What'll happen is that probably most of us will surrender in hope that we might be saved or pitied, the other, small part will become a core in opposing the pony force but it'll never work in the end. We can't defend against powerful magic nor can we hold off against a force that keeps growing in numbers. It'll be the end of us as we know it. Hopefully Xenolestia allows ponifications to have some sort of personality unlike the many fanfics.

Considering that one of humanity's advantages is tenacity, and a common foe is one of the best ways to stop two groups from fighting each other...

 

No, I don't think we would give up as a species at least until there were too few humans left to really matter any more. Until such time, we would continue to resist to the best of our abilities.

I don't know if this makes me a horrible person, but I would be able to kill a pony without a second thought IF it was a zombie and/or trying to kill me. But that is beside the point. I think that humans would never in a million years, just simply except death with no fight to give. We would fight, knowing we would die, fight until, as you put it, the bitter end.
