Is MLP Forums beginning to fade?

I been wondering and notice some people saying the forums is dieing out and does 

eneyone else notice this cause when I first got on here it had alot of people on and lots of topics being 

posted and now I dont really see any one on eneymore anyone else noticed this

i don't think the forum is dying, i mean, more people join everyday.

and well, some day teher are more threads made then other days, but that doesn't mean the forum is fading.

It's not dying. In fact I would say it's bigger than ever.

 

You do have to remember we are in between season right now so there is not as much to discuss, but there are still new mebers joining every day.

 

Not to mention there are still quite a few threads being made daily.

 

So no there not dying,  everyone is just waiting for Season 4.

I dunno, I haven't been with the forum long but in my short time here I've noticed a decline in activity. I just put it down to being between seasons. The further away from season 3, the less there is to talk about. When season 4 starts, I'm sure we'll see a huge surge of activity so I wouldn't say the forum is dead just a little...comatose

Well, you have to take in account of Bronycon right now. But, coming up with original thread ideas is actually quite hard when most things have been asked. More and more people are joining as well, so I doubt it's dying. It will probably be more alive after Bronycon.

          The forums are far from 'starting to fade' as it were. This is still one of the most active FiM forums I've joined and there's always an average of 70+ active members online (not counting the guests mind you.) As others have stated with Bronycon right around the corner along with the lack of an active FiM season going on it's bound to be a little quiet the further time goes on. I'm sure that others have become busy with RL with school coming soon or acquiring a job. 

          I have a feeling we'll be seeing a huge influx of members soon enough

I've been noticing something similar to what you've mentioned on other forums as well.  I think it's just that schools are starting or people are studying/ preparing for school.  Also take into consideration that BronyCon is this weekend so people might be too busy preparing for that and travelling.  Could just be a seasonal affair, so nothing to worry about.  People just have more time during the summer.

I dunno, the most active forum day was pretty recent: July 23rd.

I wonder if @Feld0 could drop by and supply some analytics. I think he has access to stuff like that.

I had a similar feeling recently. But i know it is not the forums dying, merely me participating in it less. Which is a shame. I'd say it's more alive than ever seeing as so many people join that i know no one anymore. ><

We just don't have much to currently talk about. As the cannon stops, the fannon dries up, and the conversations begin to as well. It's what happens when a show takes a full year off between seasons.

No it's not dying. Season 4 is just a few short months away now as people mentioned new members join each day I expect to see an increase in new members and topics when it's closer to November 23rd.

Eh, not really. More people join everyday, and while there aren't as many new topics lately, that's 'cause there's no new information to fangirl/boy over. If any spoilers come out of BronyCon, there'll be a whole bunch of new topics, and when Season 4 comes around, heck, we'll be drowned by all of the new topics! So, yeah, I don't think we're dying. But, if you want to think that, that's fine. Some people say this fandom is dying. It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, but people believe it. But I personally don't think we're dying.

It is just needless drama and I am tired of it, it seems everytime something happens people freak out about how the fandom or whatever is supposedly dying and I just laugh at it and move on. Yes things have slowed down a bit on this forum but I think alot of that has to do with the long lull between seasons, things will pick up once we get into season 4 which evidently is coming sooner than I thought it would because there will quite a bit to talk about then.

Out of the other forums I've been in this one is by far the most active. Which makes me very happy that I've joined ^.^    As some of the others have said I'm sure more will join/come back once Season 4 is here.

I don't think so.  Isn't BronyCon going on at the moment?  I think that may be the reason why we're less active.  People that have gone to the Con from far away places simply haven't the time to get online.  And others are having too much fun to care xD

There are a few forumites that do go away if you laugh at them, but they always seem to come back, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

I don't think the forum is dying at all! It's huge right now! Yes, some days there aren't that many interesting threads, (( Since we already talked about everything.. )) but we're just waiting for Season 4. There will be so many threads by then.

Things will change after brony con with so many new people/faces ! I'm sure things we love and things we hate will be crop up and I don't doubt that there is likely going to be more arguments but we will get throguht it!

 

This forum has not changed at all science I joined and I hope is only changes for the better (like it has done so far!)

People will always say something is dying, more specifically towards fandoms and forums.

 

However, until you see an announcement from the leader of the forums that it is dead, it's still here...
