Which one of mane six be the best mother to adopt you as a child?

 

Say you a Human child of about 5 or 6. You are lost and scared. Somehow teleported into Equestria.

 

Which one of the mane six the best mother to adopt you? Remember you're a child, so you might just be terrified of the Ponies when seeing them, thinking they might try to kill you. You may even run away from them, then trip and fall and cry in pain thinking it's the end for you.

 

I'd think maybe Applejack. I upon seeing a crying and a terrified little alien. She would approach you slowly and may say in the softest voice you could possibly imagine "Don't be scared, sugarcube. I won't hurt you." 

 

You become a little less afraid of her and reach your hand out to her, which she gently takes hold of.

 

And if you're a more trustful person opening your arms out to her, which she will respond by giving you a hug. 

 

Both would begin a mother like friendship. 

 

Heck, being raised by Ponies may mean you'll might end up falling in love with one day when you're older.

I'd say either Applejack or Flutters. Applejack would be a great mom and stuff, hopefully raising the kid to be honest and good. Fluttershy would also do a good job, but the kid might grow up to be a bit of a push-over.

I think Applejack would be the best and could have the most to teach a foal as well as the personality needed. The others might not be so good at it, the worst being Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. Twilight wouldn't like to be a mother if I would make a guess and Rainbow Dash is probably not suitable to be one at all, despite her element. I think Fluttershy could handle being somepony less than a mother such as an aunt but can care for foals for brief periods of time.

 The others might not be so good at it, the worst being Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. 

You could make a case for Rainbow Dash but I think if anything Twilight would be the best suited aside from the obvious answer everyone else has given so far which is Applejack. We have seen numerous example of Twilight having both a mother like and sister like relationship with Spike, she probably needed help raising him when she was younger but was probably given more and more responsibility over him as she got older almost like having a kid with their own built in training wheels.

 

 

 

My answer is also Applejack though, she has had to raise her own sister after their parents died and has been shown in many situations to have a tender side in some cases even toward ponies that aren't even family. She was the first one in Sleepless In Ponyville to notice that something was wrong with Scootaloo. Plus Applejack already reminds me of my mother, except she dosen't have Applejack's accent.

ive been posting alot about rarity today...... i think rarity would be a great mother because the way she takes care of sweetie belle. i know it may not seem like she does but i remember in the episode where sweetie belle and "apple jack_rarity" race that rarity showed just how much she cares. plus she has a job im gona need a mom to keep dem bits rolling in

EB raises a good point, and I think it's a major selling point for characters who already have siblings or the like to take care of, since it means they essentially already know what they're doing, individual characters aside. Honestly all six mares have at least some experience with being some sort of 'figure' to a younger pony, though not all to the same degree. Ultimately I voted for AJ though, just because I think she has the sort of traits I'd want in a mother that's not my actual mother. Stern and quasi-disciplinary when necessary, but patient and easy going when she doesn't have to be serious. But I think Twilight, Rarity, or Fluttershy would all be good mothers as well. Pinkie and Rainbow Dash are the two I'm not sold on, not in their present states.

I'm glad I read the op. I was imagining my baby self coming out of the loins of... why not I spare you the image. I kind have to go with Rainbow Dash or Applejack. Applejack would be a interesting, yet I doubt she would develop as a character being a mother (seeing as she is a surrogate mother to Applebloom. Rainbow Dash would make the most interesting pony to have adopt a human child, making Rainbow Dash really progress not a pony (person), but really putting time to show affection and raise her pasty apelike adopted son.

Hmm, Applejack would probably be the best choice for me. She has proven herself to be very capable of caring for other ponies. Plus, she would probably teach me good morales, and give me work to do so I can be a healthy and good child.

 

For Rainbow Dash; possibly in the future, but for now: no. She is certainly improving her ability to care for younger ponies  as we can see from her relationship with Scootaloo, but she isn't quite there yet. She still needs to learn some things before she is ready to care for her own child.

 

And for Rarity, well, she would probably be the most easy-going pony to adopt me. She would probably focus more on her career, and leave me to do whatever I like. Now, this would be nice, but a child needs to be taught things, and I don't think Rarity's ready for that.

 

Twilight Sparkle is probably the second best choice to adopt me. She does a good job caring for Spike, and would probably teach me a lot of things. The only thing is that is she has a lot of things to do, and might not have time to care for a child.

 

I don't think Pinkie Pie is quite ready to be a mother. She is very childish.

 

Fluttershy is good for caring for animals, and is very nice, but I don't think she has enough of a backbone to properly discipline her child. Therefore, I would be able to do whatever I want with little consequences, and would probably end up spoiled.

Fluttershy and applejack is soo equaly good, but probably fluttershy becouse I love animals and a bit scilence had been nice too.

Though I had probably gone on her nerves becouse I mostly listen to metal and hard rock, and I doubt that would change becouse I just am like this not really influenced by anyone.

Obviously, Applejack. She is second to none when it comes to knowing how to raise a child. Secondly, it would be Rarity, then Fluttershy. Those 3 are very well capable of being good mothers. As for Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash, I'm feeling a bit doubtful about both. I wouldn't really want Pinkie as my mother, though.

I would probably go with Fluttershy or Applejack. I think that Fluttershy would freak out at first but, if she say you crying and how terrified you are she'd probably  approach you with a soft voice trying not to startle you. She has a sort of motherly way of tacking care of animals and I think that would translate well to a child. Like when the CMC stayed the night at her house and she was very motherlike to them.

 

Applejack would also be another good choice do to her honesty and how responsible she is. I also would mind being called "sugar cube"

Well, Applejack is the one that cares for her family values. Rarity and Flutters could adopt a child too, but Twilight would just use books to do it, Rainbow Dash is not the kind of pony that would be a mother, and Pinkie Pie is too hyperactive.

Im gonna go out and say, that Rainbow Dash would probably be a pretty damn awesome mother. I think, that RD has proven, that she can care about/for other living things rather well.

I can't help but notice NOPONY is voting for Rainbow Dash

 

RD is my favourite pony from the mane 6, but I think I would like to be adopted by Twilight (AJ fans gonna be hatin' ) since she is the pony female version of me-minus the magic. AJ would be a responsible parent, but I'm not a physical person, and I already understand the need for a good work ethic rather well (at least I'm told so).

 

Flutters might be ok, but I think she has enough animals to take care of without a child as well

 

Pinkie Pie would be a weird mother, but hey, she's the pony version of my mother anyway, so it'd be about the same life all over again. (Trust me, you don't know insanity until you've met my mother)

 

Rarity, although I like her, doesn't strike me as the motherly type. 

 

Rainbow Dash would probably think I wasn't awesome enough and kick me out, plus I'd have a hard time getting up and down from her cloud castle/tower.

 

So that leaves Twilight. Like I said before, she is the exact same as me. I have minimal friends and I have had since a young age because I was always reading, I get really high scores in all my tests, I'm fascinated by magic even though it doesn't exist Damn you reality!

 

I think Twi would be the best mother for me
