Like this one said. MMDW is the perfect example of why I feel this way.

 

When that episode came out, everyone thought the other 5 were jerks for taking RD down for being arrogant and borderline narcissistic, even though she was fixed of her problem because of it.

 

Next episode, Sweet & Elite, Rarity threw disregard to her friends to try and fit in with Canterlot's Elite. Wrong, yes. In the end, she chose her friends over Canterlot's Elite, without any help.

 

But she's a total bitch in that episode.

 

You see what I'm getting at, dude? It's not RD.

 

It's when things like this happen.

 

Again, not trying to attack or flame, but I don't think I'm wrong for feeling this way.

I never said Rainbow should be best pony, she is not my best pony, and neither yours. Yes, the points of disregarding superiority and best pony are very similar sounding, but when it comes to what it is describing, that is not proving a point at all. Like I always say, this is simply to boost your opinion upon her. 

 

As for Mare-Do-Well, my line of dislike for the reasons are very differed. Mostly I get dislikes to the episode of how rushed and pointless some of the gags were for the setting. Like the foal falling, for instance. But altogether, I do believe that RD fans are very biased with that episode just because she's prtrayed more negatively than not. Get this, RD fans. You complain about Mary-Sues and Gary-Stues, yet what you're trying to get at is that Rainbow shouldn't be portrayed this deeply into her one main flaw? Signs of wanting a Sue/Stu character, I presume.

Fluttershy is cemented in #2. I never would've even bothered watching the show past what I saw if it wasn't for Hurricane Fluttershy making me cry when I first saw it.

 

Applejack is 3 out of 6. She seems to be very mature and level headed to me, and could be a leader when necessary. I think she needs more development.

 

Twilight is 4 out of 6. Protagonist. So much development, it's hard to place her lower than 4th.

 

Pinkie is 5 out of 6. She makes me laugh and smile She sort of keeps things in balance with her cartoonish personality, too, from what I see. She's always good for a laugh.

I was all cool up until you said that. I was even having fun discussing this with you, but now, it's getting sorta personal, and I don't like that. I don't mind debating, but I do mind fighting. I'm not a fighter :okiedokielokie:

 

Anyway, why Rarity is best pony, in no particular order, IMO (Unless you want me to perform the impossible task of making it a fact Heh. Opinions are all you can have on the subjects of favorites, if you can get that through your head.):

 

1. I like her independence; she runs her own boutique, by herself! She makes all the clothes she sells, too.

2. I like how she doesn't have a large fanbase, but she (IMO) deserves one. Call me a hipster, whatever.

3. I like watching her episodes; she keeps me entertained.

4. I like her mane and her tail.

5. I like her passion for her job; she's very into what she does.

6. I like being able to have a long ass list of statements as to why she does represent the Element of Generosity on a file in my computer.

7. I like her voice actor; she's got the best voice, IMO.

8. I like how, not ONCE, did she openly blame her friends, when it was their fault she was embarrassed for those awful dresses in Suited for Success.

9. I like how she chose her friends over her dreams at the end of Sweet & Elite.

10. I like how she willingly waited in the mud to make Sweetie Belle happy in Sisterhooves Social.

11. I like how she spared Spike's feelings in Secret of My Excess; you don't know how much better that'll make a person feel.

12. I like how she has flaws. When she overcomes her own vanity for her friends and sister are what endear me to her.

13. I like her for the fact I find myself giving her all of my attention when she's onscreen, even when she's not the focus of the shot.

14. I like how she can make me laugh with her over-the-top drama.

15. I like how she gives, but people in this fandom don't really take note of it.

Here we go... though it's not much of a secret... I LOVE gorefics, well-written ones anyway. Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory have to be some of my favorite fics of all time. Also, this is sort of a secret, the first fic I ever read and my favorite one of all time is Butterflies by Ghosttown Brony. Just read it. Seriously.

I can't write anything about MLP without it being based around some type of disaster or in a post-apocalyptic settings. And one character always has to die. 

I also find a great deal of fascination in trying to find ways to incorporate modern tech into the universe in a way that makes sense. I've even gone so far as to actually writing a pre-war history with key details, corporation names, hell, even two competing cider companies.
