I guess it is time for me to respond to my own thread, which is what I should have done when I first made it.

 

My moment of pure bliss was finding my special somepony. That was the greatest day in my life.

Hmm, I have. Mostly all of them having to do with acting in some way shape or form. Usually getting ready, or being backstage right before going on. Its terrifying but its pure bliss at the same time. It also usually makes you have to pee

Well, alot of times when my crush simply shows she notices me, even just saying hi sometimes provides a moment or two of bliss. 

 

I've also had plenty of super fun times in the stands during football games with the band, aswell as during competitions. Oh and when we won 1st place at the competition like 2 weeks ago.

 

Not to mention when I got my part in the trumpet trio for our show and my crush came and gave me a hug . That was so awesome . 

 

Not to mention i got alot of people giving me recognition and congratulations, and i was just so happy the rest of band camp, well i'm pretty happy through most of it but yeah...

 

OH! And another one that was from like 2 years ago now? We had this song which had a trumpet solo in it, and i was at middle school and the 1st chair player for trumpets there, plus the best trumpet in the smaller class, so my band director had me play the solo in class, along with my crush who plays flute! It was just so awesome. Made me so happy. I wish i could do it again.

 

I could probaly go on and on, from smaller to bigger stuff, but i've had plenty i think.

the first one was when i watched MLP for the first time,i swear my smile grew larger than ever on that afternoon.

the 2nd was when i tried meditation for the first time and managed to drift into a place of absolute peace for the first time.

Yeah, i've had a crush on her for two years. or something around there, maybe a little more now not totally sure on the exact time ;p.

 

But yeah, simply having me feel like she noticed me can brighten the rest of my day.

 

I talk to her sometimes, but only really when she talks to me, because otherwise i'm to nervous usually.

 

And i'll realistically probaly never get a chance to ask her out or anything, because well many complicated reasons ;p. But my heart is still pretty determined. I wanna atleast become better friends with her. But idk how that'll work out.

 

I'm sure she doesn't like me basically though, since she was already interested in other guys way more then me. She doesn't pay attention much to me anymore.

Anyways... enough me ranting on my crush ;p.

 

Basically anything she does makes me feel like the luckiest person on the world, no matter how small.

A few days ago...

 

I have some issues with my anxiety, so I have been hopeless...and sleepless for several years now.

 

My counselor managed to word something just right, when I saw her, and it made me hopeful, happy, and relaxed. It was only for about 2 minutes, but those may be some of the best 2 minutes I've felt in the last 3 years.

Relaxing, listening to music and watching my favorite TV shows is a usual source of bliss for me, a day of bliss I had was last December when I went on my last school excursion to a water park.

Yeah, quite recently actually. First when discovered MLP with the help of Derpy, Second, when my own son accepted me as a Brony. and Third, when I came to this place and found soo many friends!

Not quite pure bliss, but today I woke from a dream about dealing with the anguish of losing my oldest son (a year ago). I am now filled with a sensation of profound peace. I have been so HARD on myself,lately,without realizing it. I think now, I really can "keep calm and Pony on!"

When you're really tired after a long day and your limbs feels all heavy and your head seems stuffed with cotton, and you climb into a soft bed and put your head down on that pillow, and you can just relax and drift off to sleep... BLISSSSS! Like a warm marshmellow melting on a plate. Yeah, think I'll see about doing that right now...

And I still get really happy when I think about that and almost like you said, I have many occasional moments of 'pure bliss' whenever I just talk to her. Talking her just makes me really happy, no matter how crappy my day's been.

 

And just times where my friends on here have been there for me, and helped me through all my rough times, even when I felt like I didn't deserve it. That really made me very happy, grateful, and I guess really blissful.

Well the latest one I had was when I was able to hold my nephew for the first time, didnt get till hold him till he was about a month old but the way he looked at me that look just makes you so happy hard to explain

SmartyPants, of the people who have come forward recently in the Couples Thread, I was especially happy to read your post there as well as the one here. You sounded like you were totally down in the dumps, spinning your wheels, and giving up on your social life. Your attitude has done a total 180. I can't recall the last time I saw someone's outlook improve so much so fast and I think that's awesome. I also agree that there are few things as amazing as finding somebody new, building a deep, personal connection with them, and learning that they feel the same way about you. Best of luck to you and Rinku!

 

Do I have any personal moments of bliss I'd like to pass along? Oh, maybe riding a train on a route I've always wanted to take, like my ride to Vermont earlier this year. Or possibly waking up and being surrounded by three content, snoozing kitties. I'm too young...and the wrong gender...to be an old cat lady!

I don't do any acting in school or anything routine, but i did some in homeschooling, and i've done a few random skits for different things. But yeah i enjoy it, I'm also decent at it i guess, compared to the others who have no acting experience at all ;p.

 

And yeah, nerves in general make you have to pee alot xD. I don't know what the correlation is between your bladder and nerves, or if there is one, but its so true.

 

Like recently a few weeks ago I had honor band tryouts(I play trumpet) and I was really nervous despite having practiced a ton. I went pee like I think 3-4 times within the like 15-20 minutes before I had to preform my audition, like the craziest part is I drank like one little drink from the water fountain, yet I peed 3-4 times still as if I had drank like a gallon or something.. Where does all that pee even come from? ;p.

 

One of my friends in band who also plays trumpet was even worse though, he went to the bathroom to pee like 6 times! He didn't admit to being nervous, but by how many times he peed I could tell he was nervous xD. 

 

But yeah, not sure what the actual reason behind it is, but its certainly true that nerves make you have to pee. (Not to mention the fact that suddenly everyone else gets nervous and goes to pee several times, making you have to ;p.)

 

On a random side note i didn't get in, which sucks, guess all the nerves and peeing was for nothing ;p. 

Oh well always next year.

Yeah I have to agree, its pretty awesome seeing! Its quite inspiring I must say.

I'm starting to realize... that the moments of pure bliss often come when you feel loved. It makes it all the more magical if you're a hopeless romantic like me.

 

I recently confronted my crush on whether she wanted to be friends with me anymore. Here's how that went:

 

 

 

Me: "I wanted to say something... Recently... I've felt that... you didn't want to be my friend anymore."

My crush: "Paul... that's not true... I'm sorry if I did anything that led you to that... I... I truly value our friendship." *gives me cute smile*

Me: *Looking flustered with a sheepish smile* "Umm... thanks..." *moment of silence* "Umm... We're standing at the middle of the hallway right now."

My crush: "Oh! We wouldn't want to get in someone's way!" *we both giggle sheepishly"

 

 

 

As we kept conversing, my mind was in pure bliss. Sure I was keeping the conversation up, but I was really starting to lose it at this point.

I guess I could say that I feel bliss whenever I talk to friends and hang out. Considering I don't go out too often, when I go and hang out with friends and have fun it's the best feeling in the world. 

 

I guess another one would be talking to people on here that I like a lot

Hmm, I don't really have many moments of pure bliss... I have one that I clearly remember, though.

 

Me and my best friend were hanging out on the beach. We dug ourselves some holes near the water to lie on, since we didn't have towels or anything like that. She brought out her speaker and I my iPod, and played some of our favorite bands' songs. 

 

We eventually fell asleep like that, with the sound of the sea, music and the feeling of a warm, sunny day. 

 

Although I nursed some major sunburns afterward, it was still worth it
