A pony comes to the human world and says only you can save Equestria

I know some people have said they wouldn't go, or at least stay.

 

lets look at the scenerios.

lets suppose twilight sparkle appears before you, shop warn, tear stained, possible wounded begging for your help.

Apple jack is all greyed out appears before you asking for your help looking side to side bitting her lip like she was in return of harmoney.

Pinkie pie shows up begging for your help, her hair is perfectly straight talking about she has faith after studing you, a you could easily be the friend that could save all of equistra.

 

(I intend to play with this one lol more so feel free to pick it, it has the most possibilities,) and yes she seems very party of one ish, so you could assume she broke the 4th wall a little to hard.

Rarity shakes you awake crying saying "the worst possible thing has happened and only you can help!"  Amazingly enough she looks just fine.

Flutter shy after lightly poking you awake after maybe a half hour and cowering  asks very politely and timidly if you wouldn't mind saving equistra,  Flutter shy looks normal.

 

likely getting side tracked if you have a pet.

Rainbow dash, crashed into you through your roof and amazingly your not seriously injured.  "I have no time to explain, we desperately need your help!"  she's in her wonder bolts outfit, it's all tore up she's bruised up.

 

Now, remember their just telling you equistra is in dire straights.

doesn't mean it is.

 

Honestly I'd personally go with all of them cept pinkie lol unless her hair started to puff back to normal if i sad i'd think about going.  So yes lets assume that's the out come if you give pinkie a strong maybe.

I really should have done more than just the main six lol.  i guess i'll add to it based on replies.

I would help all of them, but first I'd grab and conceal my gun without telling them, the main reason for this is Pinkie, who honestly might try some funny business, and thus I'd need protection.

Twilight - I'd think I was lucid dreaming, and I'd try to mess around for a bit. Yeahh, probably would end up forgetting to go.

 

Applejack - Based on my knowledge of Return of Harmony, uh, no. Sorry, love you AJ, but no.

 

Pinkie - No. Pinkamena scares the crap outta me. I'd think it was a nightmare.

 

Rarity - I wouldn't even listen. I'd just go and save Equestria right then and there.

 

Fluttershy - I'd listen, and go right on to save Equestria

 

Rainbow Dash - I'd try to go back to sleep, but I'd realize the rest of them would be in danger, and I'd go Just kidding. I'd probably freak out and get pissed that she crashed through my roof, and I'd sit there and be all like "WTF WAS THAT FOR?!?!" And she'd probably just make me go after that.

and she needs your insight on human fashion, when you get their your in a room filled with at least a dozen other bronies

she worked over for the same reason lol.

Well, once I'd gotten over the initial shock of a colourful talking pony arriving in my house, I would want to help them, whichever one it was! I'd ask a few questions first though, to find out what was going on and what they needed me to do.

Applejack - Obvious no-no, Discorded Applejack lies all the time, probably a troll.

 

Pinkie Pie - When Pinkie Pie is depressed and not flipping out, it is serious business, I'd help.

 

Rarity - Her stating that only I could help could make me realise that it is a disaster of interdimensional magnitude that requires someone with my expertise in interdimensional issues. That is nobody except me. I'd help.

 

Fluttershy - Saving Equestria? Meek but serious, let's go kick some meany ass.

 

Rainbow Dash - Doesn't come crashing through a roof in a lightning-proof suit without a reason. I'd help.

 

Lyra - Aside from getting distracted, seems serious. Also, before helping I'd politely explain that I am not really that human, but just stuck as human. I'd help.

 

Dr. Whooves -  I am expertised in the fundamental laws of the multiverse, shouldn't be a problem to save another universe. I'd help.

Not to mention it would probably involve me having to kick ass, which I can do fairly well when combined with any form of psionics or dimensional abilities.

Vinyl Scratch - Either she too wants inter dimensional help needed and needs better bass for the bass cannon. (Wouldn't be hard, I've got some of the most intense crap ever in my library). Or she'd have me assemble a tune or DJ or whatever. I am good with music, so it'd be no problem and I'd help.

 

CMC - Well, a good reason the CMC would be sent is wormhole size restrictions, so I'd probably trust 'em. why else would they appear in my house anyways? I'd help, and kick more ass probably.

and i must confess i know precious little on dr who, but i love seeing fans spin his pony variant.

 

I kinda have the mental image of twilights ordeal being like the Phonix right-mlp cross overs where she might embellish some of the facts of bringing you over, but her heart would be in the right place.

 

I like the idea that people are assuming twilight is just having another lesson 0 moment,

and the fact she's busted up isn't out of the ordinary.

I'd have to go through the process of accepting ponies as actual reality.  I might need to slap one in the face to make sure they were real.  

 

Umm... Honestly, I'd be really suspicious and simply say they got the wrong person for the job.  I'm no hero, and what minimal skills I have I wouldn't be the optimal candidate for whatever they had planned.  I'm no Neo after all (or am I?  ).

 

Although, I must say that it would be fun just to go over and explore a bit.  Not sure I'd want to trade my whole life though, that's a pretty large and permanent change!  And what if Equestria turns out worse than Earth?  (There's always the possibility that the TV show we all know and love is lying to us!   )

After reading through this topic and the many responses, as well as taking into account my skills and the kind of world Equestria is, I've developed what I think is the most likely outcome if I was the chosen one to help save Equestria.

 

All Scenarios: Equestria is bucked.
