It'll be my first time too! It should be an interesting trip getting there, I'm driving from Appleton, Wisconsin so it's a good 14 hours drive. Just have to plan out room reservations, or find someone to share with. Can't wait!

I would go but i have no money and no one to go with. My parents probably wouldn't be too stoked about me going to an mlp convention anyway  Plus Baltimore isn't exactly around the corner from where i live

Okay, new plan: Since I'm not even sure if I like going to cons, I'm going to try to go to a smaller, nearby brony convention before I decide if I want to go halfway across the country. I think I'll start planning to go to Midwest Brony Fest.

Can't go wrong making your first con the big one, it was for me and I definitely don't regret it! But understandable, considering the larger investment.

I'd really love to go, but I don't think my significant other would want to go halfway across the country just for a con (again). She isn't as into MLP as I am, I might also have to try dragging seeing if she would want to go to Midwest Brony Fest,like someone previously mentioned. It's only three-ish hours away.

I will most definetly be there again this year. I hopped on those hotel reservations on day one. I was really bummed I missed the hilton reservations last year. No more walking back and forth to the raddison for this guy

i got a room at the Hyatt, was able to get the room at the discount (Hilton was gone by then). Don't think it will be to bad traveling back and forth, it is only like one block. Might look into doing a roomshare as we get closer but not sure if I want to yet.

 

As for the people going that have rooms reserved, where are you staying (Hilton, Hyatt, Sheraton, etc)?

I went last year and really enjoyed it, so I hope to be able to attend this year once I've saved some money up! While tickets are expensive to get a flight since I live in Canada, there are some cheap airlines nearby!
