To be honest, only Flitter and Granny Smith have a chance to take the runner up from Angel and Button Mash, and the former seems more probable. The rest don't really have a choice; their vote rates are mostly at big numbers with negatives (What the hell, Mrs. Harshwhinny? Why aren't you up there?)

 

Applejack already has her place in the second round confirmed.

Ah well, no use in crying over spilled milk, onto the next round!   Glad to see all the major Apple Family characters (Winona included, even though I think that Snails is underrated) are soundly trouncing their opponents.  Also, even though they probably won't make it to the actual World Cup, it's nice to see Daisy, Flitter, Ms. Harshwhinny, and Truffle Shuffle winning for once.  Finally, it brings me joy to no end to see Button Mash (who's adorable but really overrated as well) and Twist (who just sucks, I'm sorry, she does, she just sucks :okiedokielokie:) both losing.

I'm surprised Dr. Caballeron is doing so well. I thought his votes would be in single digits. Not that I'm complaining or anything, he's badass. Maybe he'll muster a few more votes and knock out Harshwhinny.

Granny Smith is already taking Button's place, with their original vote difference being 20, and added with the fact that Button is losing to Mac, Granny can probably take runner-up.

 

I honestly voted for Flitter not only because I like her, but because she has bigger potential to take Angel's place. Her voting rate is + 24; Mrs. Cake is + 8.

Flitter and Mrs. Cake are tied... I figured. They're two equally popular ponies. If they wanna advance though, they gotta beat Angel... Also note that purple in the standings means that they're mathematically unable to take top spot in their respective groups. Red will mean they're mathematically eliminated, although they'll have to play the rest of their matches.
