Given how difficult it can be to find some #1 fans of certain characters, I've provided some leeway for those minor characters who will progress to the next round. Those characters eligible for help are allowed to call on people who have them as best background character. They may not be the best character for them, but best background character or even 2nd or 3rd best overall is allowed for them. These characters however are NOT eligible for this exception:

Just to add and clarify, the lineups are there to distinguish who is favourite fan of who really. And it's to add some fun to who your favourite pony is. Being part of a team so that you can great a group and tell as many fans as possible to vote for your favourite character.

Hard to believe we're 2/3rds of the way through the group stage already!

I went with the majority in voting for both Big Mac and Spike, but went against the grain a bit in voting for Princess Cadance over Rainbow Dash. I still prefer RD of the two, but I'd like to see Cadance be the other pony to make it out of Group H (no offense to Spike), so hopefully the extra vote will help her if it comes down to a points tie-breaker.

Welcome to another episode of BSPN, Matchday 3 edition! Tonight begins the end of the Group Stages, where we finally get to see who will officially take which slots of the Round of 16! Tonight, you will have to decide who will progress to the Knockout Stages with Princess Luna, and at what position! Luna's position at 1st is by no means safe! A loss to Shining Armor, coupled with a win for either Sweetie Belle or Trixie will consign her to second place with enough votes! As for the latter two characters, their World Cup lives are on the line, as loser goes home. A draw would also make Trixie go home. She has it all to do tonight... can she jump over the squeaky CMC and progress, or will Rarity's younger sister triumph?

 

As for Group B, you will also have to decide between Queen Chrysalis and Zecora to progress with Applejack to the Knockout Stages. Which character will take the opportunity presenting itself for both characters?! Who will go home?! A draw here would place Zecora out of the World Cup, so keep that in mind! All this to begin... tonight in two hours!
